It's almost like package shippers are seeing record volumes and have been at 100%+ capacity for 6 months now or something.

What?
"stan" has entered popular lingo with youngins these days to mean a "fan". It comes from an Eminem song I think

the post that catalyzed my post in here is this:
I will die a Kyle Lowry Stan but Serge is right, the whining when we're down is a shitty look and it just made things worse
just say you're a Kyle Lowry fan. Saying "stan" is frustratingly dumb

This is the new normal, just get used to it.

I want to see volume comparisons between UPS and FedEx, because UPS doesn’t have the same issues that I see for residential shipping.

Ironically enough, I received an email from FedEx today saying that most residential deliveries are actually arriving a day early.

not in my 'hood. 5 of my last 6 FedEx deliveries have been at least a day later than tracking said they would be. the last one was on the truck all day "out for delivery" and still wasn't delivered until the next day.
however, my Amazon deliveries have ALL been 1 to 2 days early for the past few weeks.

Oh, I agree. My UPS guy knows me, and I routinely get Prime deliveries a day early. FedEx is the complete opposite.

Reynold’s non-stock wrap. Now with 42% more per roll! Yeah, because they thinned out the foil so that it rips far too easily, requiring me to double up.

Oh man, that brings me to a good one. I went to rip a piece of foil off a roll a couple weeks back and the whole roll came flying out of the box, unraveling. No way am I rolling all that aluminum foil back into a perfect cylinder again.

I let my sister borrow my inflatable pool/slide, and after one use she ruined it by not drying it off before putting it away. Literally the one thing I told her she had to make sure she did. $375 down the drain, and now my kid is upset.

More fun from today. Went to my parents house to setup my dad‘a replacement TV, which requires a new tv stand so that it would fit. We go to put it on the stand, and it doesn’t fit. The ‘58” stand’ that my mom ordered was actually 57.5”. Sony’s site also lists the wrong length of the tv with the stand, being 1/2” longer than written. Combine these two and it explains why it didn’t fit. I ended up strong arming the metal legs to bend in slightly so that they stayed on the stand. Seems like it’ll work fine now.

That said, I hate this new leg design by Sony, and would mount it to the wall before I ever put it on a stand. It’s wobbly as **** compared to my X900F’s design.

What?
I've asked people who say stan if they know what happened the rest of the way through the song, and it's usually met with silence.

Another day, another god damn package that FedEx still hasn’t delivered two days after the original delivery date. How is it possible to be this **** bad at the only thing you’re supposed to do?

When you go to a shopping site and it offers you a mailing list signup with only two options like "Yes, I want a totally awesome 15% discount!" and "No, I'm a poopy pants crybaby loser who believes in throwing money away," but you've been on their mailing list for years and there's no option for that.

more FedEx bullshit. package should be delivered today according to FedEx tracking. it showed that the item arrived in the metro area this morning at 1:22am but hasn't moved since then which leads me to believe that it didn't make the truck for today. that will be 6 out of my last 7 FedEx deliveries that have been at least a day late.

You fellows have the worst luck with Fedex. I've received 6 shipments in the last 2 weeks and they've all been right on time.

Target already refunded me for my purchase since FedEx has no idea what it's doing with the package. It has gone back and forth between PA and NJ twice now. It will probably be shipped overseas somehow.

I’ll drop it off when it gets delivered here.

My son and I watched a season of Survivor a few years ago and there was a contestant with the name "Donathon." WTF.
