What a waste of a perfectly good stromboli

Ordered something last week, was supposed to arrive Monday. I still don't have it, and the tracking info has not updated since shortly after noon on Monday when it was a supposedly enroute from a UPS Mail facility in Ohio to a USPS center, also in Ohio.

I was supposed to have a package delivered via FedEx yesterday. I got the "Fedex is delivering to you today!" email in the morning, tracking showed the package as being on the truck for delivery but yet somehow, my package wasn't delivered and now tracking says delivery Thursday. WTF FedEx?

If you don't mind can you PM me your tracking? Not that I can help, but I actually do want some examples for a long term resolution.

when the staff at the "fancy doughnut" place uses wax paper to put your $2.50 berry filled and frosted doughnut in the bag and leaves the wax paper on the top, causing all of the frosting to stick to the wax paper instead of the doughnut.

Looks like my package was finally processed by the USPS in Akron. At this rate I might receive it by Halloween.

Groups who walk 5 strong next to each other on a bike/jogging path. My daughter is in front of me on her bike, and I can see a large group of women walking from the other direction. Five across, taking up 90% of the path. I give it time, and they’re not moving over. Didn’t want my kid having to ride in the damn bushes, so I pedaled ahead of her and moved closer to the center, forcing these morons to finally move. Why do people like this do that?

100% of the time I’ve encountered that situation it’s a group of women. I think that answers your question.

Yup. For some reason it's a gender thing, although obviously that's not universal. Too wrapped up in conversation.

is it a gender thing or is it just because you don't really see dudes walking together like that?
we walk the path near our house every day. I see man/woman, woman/kids, man/kids, 2-3 women walking together but never just men walking.

Groups of students do that in Oakland all the time.

It's a gender thing. Men are used to stepping aside, holding doors, waiting, etc etc etc. Women aren't. Men do things of that nature without even thinking about it. It never enters the minds of women to do it until they are basically bumping into someone (or whatever the related situation is).

This should be a common sense thing. I used to deal with this in Philly on the sidewalks, where it was mostly guys walking in a line together (aim for the center one and they split).

I FINALLY received my package today, 11 days after it shipped from Kansas. In that same time period I ordered something from San Diego that arrived in 6 days. Worth noting the latter was FedEx vs USPS for the former.
