I had that happen to me a few times. The one time, I literally sat right in front of the teacher's desk and still got marked absent.

I know it's been mentioned in here before...

People using speaker on their phones in a cubicle environment at work. Sure, if there are multiple people in your cube in a meeting, go right ahead. Otherwise, if you really need to write an email or be on your computer while in a meeting, maybe it's time to get a headset.

Why are people so ignorant?

I am 14 hours away from flying to Singapore, and I have just chipped a tooth. This is the third time I've chipped this tooth since around August; the repair has failed twice now.

Are we talking about Knorr pasta sides? If so, they don't deserve to even be mentioned in this thread.

Most of the broken glass has been replaced with sawdust...very easy to digest...

Finding out Overý's is closed after dirving 40 minutes with 8 people(including 3 small children) in a car due to the weather being too bad to stay open. Guess should have checked their facebook page, but it 'wasn't even snowing that bad last night.

We ate a bunch of those in college...I actually was at a German market this weekend, and I discovered that Knorr makes Spatzle sides for Germany. TIL.

I had no idea that they made Spaetzle sides. I love it, and have made it from scratch in the past. The biggest issue is the vehicle for straining it into the water. I used a medium colander the last time I made it, which didn't work out terribly well, but found a tip from somewhere online that said to use a thick Ziplock bag with a small hole cut in the corner.
