lol... what a terrible graph. No label for the y-axis as to what that amount means, absolutely nothing on the x-axis as to what those date points are. I give it a D-.
I started fixing it after posting it. That said, the raw data is to the left of the chart, so it's more obvious if you see the entire sheet.

the x-axis is labeled “fuel price” (or maybe that’s the title of the graph) but the units on the y-axis are a currency, likely indicating fuel price (I’m guessing by the gallon)

I give the chart an F

F for Fuel price, because that's what it shows. And c2i and I both know that he knew that.

Someone was complaining about gas going up recently so I looked into and found that, after adjusting to current dollars, 2016-2020 were the lowest gas prices since 1978.

https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/g ... inflation/

Pure speculation, but I’m guessing opening up drilling on federal lands helped drop those prices. And of course the last year with reduced demand surely helped, but only for last year.

I didn't drive much in 2020, but gas prices in PA were still pretty bad for me at 93. I paid over $3/g multiple times.

I'm sure you know, but PA has some of the highest gas tax in the country.

Comes with the territory when you have a performance engine.

The Saudis and Ruskis just announced they were cutting back on production.

Putting a moratorium on drilling on federal lands completely irrelevant.

Nowdays even the ecoboosts and stuff suggest 93.. those engines are found in such fancy automobiles as the Ford Escape. I'm poor so we meet in the middle with 91 in the wifes ecoboost vehicle.

Turbo engines especially need the higher octane, so I have always run top tier 93 in both the Regal and the Mazda.

Back in the 90's when I had my Nova, I used to run Cam2 racing gas.

87 4 life.

Although I would love to run ethanol free more often.

For cars, nothing sounds better than a turbocharged engine, IMO. The only way to **** it up is to have some douchey sounding BOV.

The factory BOV on my SRT-4 sounded like a wet sneeze, it became kind of a in-joke among friends.

I don't think I've ever heard an SRT-4 before. I was never a huge fan of the body style back in the day (can't say the same now), but some of the best sounding cars I've ever heard at the track were 2JZ Supras.

what happens on eBay if someone wins a bid and never follows through on their payment? would that be the same as what you're saying shoeshine, but rather than Buy It Now it's in a bid
