Is it?It would be nice to have more than one fish fry to choose from.
St. Mary of the Assumption Parish on Middle Road v. Hampton Township VFD #1 on Duncan. Anyone tried either? Leaning toward the VFD because they have breaded mushrooms.

My in-laws were raving about St. Mary's yesterday. They are serial fish-fry hoppers, so they know the lay of the land. I can also vouch for St. Catherine's of Sweden just off Wildwood Road.Is it?It would be nice to have more than one fish fry to choose from.

Neat, thanks. Funny you say SCoS since I've been thinking about them lately; they're right on the way to my hockey games. My in-laws were raving about St. Mary's yesterday. kuhns fish fry is above averageI have not yet tried the VFD, even though it is a two minute drive from home. Our go-to is usually Kuhn's.
https://codeforpittsburgh.github.io/fishfrymap/You jagoffs have almost unlimited access to fish fries and still hesitate? As DG said, I’m lucky to find out about the one Friday a year it happens (at one parish).
$7 for 3 P'rogies? Pass...Epiphany by PPG opens at 11:00am and has crab cakes. Niiiiiice.
This reminded me of Mitch Hedberg's "Don't bother ringing it up, it's for a duck!" line...It's for a CHURCH, NEXT!
So does SCoS, except they take orders online.St. Marys has drive thru for takeout orders. Keep that interaction with people to a minimum, I say. http://www.stmaryglenshaw.org/fish-fry/
Had I known that, I would have ordered a much larger sandwich. This reminded me of Mitch Hedberg's "Don't bother ringing it up, it's for a duck!" line...It's for a CHURCH, NEXT!
You suppose I could get them to drop it into the sunroof so I never have to make eye contact? So does SCoS, except they take orders online.St. Marys has drive thru for takeout orders. Keep that interaction with people to a minimum, I say. http://www.stmaryglenshaw.org/fish-fry/
