Braces.Dude, wear your suspenders.Pants that don't have enough belt loops. I have some pairs of pants that have two loops in front, two on the sides, and only a single belt loop in the middle of the back. That's not enough. There should be at least two in back, and three would be better.

I do sometimes wear braces, but that doesn't help when I need a belt to support a holster for concealed carry.

though it’s been at least 20 years since I’ve seen the Simpsons
I was always a family guy and South Park guy

Family guy hits you over the head with it's humor. Zero subtlety.
South Park I will never get. Base humor with irritating voices.
But to each their own.

Not getting South Park and it being almost entirely social commentary is...interesting...

South Park is the best social commentary/satire comedy on U.S. television since All In The Family. Can't believe it's still running, the first episode premiered before I moved to CA.

South Park should’ve ended with the Youre Getting Old episode
not that there aren’t occasionally good episodes but I’d rather a show end when the creators have spiritually moved on to other projects

South Park stumbled a bit with all the Trump stuff but ever since its gone back to the kids being kids and tackling social issues through that lens, it's been fantastic. No reason to quit when they're still crushing it.

The way that my brain works sometimes...
I was pulling into work and a Fall Out Boy song came on... I remembered my wife got me tickets to a show out near Cleveland and we're gonna go while the little one stays with my inlaws. Got me thinking: when is that show?
So I look it up: July 18th.
My brain: Hol' up... you have a tattoo appointment on the 19th. How's that gonna work? Can we sell the FOB tickets? Probably a pain. What if I just leave early in morning on the 19th and get back to State College by 10. I'd have to leave like at 5:30 or so to make sure I got there, but I could do it. But what about the wife and kid? Make them come too or just take separate cars so they can stay the weekend? Maybe call the artist and see if we can reschedule.
Some distant voice n the back of my head: Hey, your tattoo is in May, dummy.
Ugh.

So I get a call from our pest control service, as it's time for our quarterly service. Noon on Wednesday. So as I'm driving home to meet the guy, I get a phone call from the dispatcher. "Are you going to be home for your appointment? The tech says the house looks empty!" Yes, I reply, I will be there in about 10 minutes. Which would be 10 minutes BEFORE the appointment. I then notice I have two missed doorbell rings (Android Auto rightly blocks those notifications) from the tech 20 and 25 minutes before the appointment.
I know a bunch of you work from home and this isn't an issue, but I'm not hanging around before an appointment just in case the tech finishes the previous call early? That's just dumb. It's at 12, I'll be there a few minutes before that. Chump.
