(Money goes to the CA Coastal Commission; I forget how much the first year cost, but the annual renewal fee is $40, and 100% of it goes to the CCC.)

I still see people behind me taking photos of my plates at red lights. Every now and then the light will change green before they finish and I launch the hell outta there while laughing.

You'd think they'd be able to make a substitute for active X that works on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc. but that would be too nice.I have to use IE on my own IP cam unless I use an app on my iPhone. Some of the newer hardware vendors wised up and created HTML5 portals, but I use Foscam gear, whose software developers are still stuck in the 90s.You'd think they'd be able to make a substitute for active X that works on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc. but that would be too nice.I have to use IE on my own IP cam unless I use an app on my iPhone. Edit: Even more hilarious is that my aquarium controller shows my webcam just fine in all browsers, so it's only the manufacturer that can't get it right.
