aka i'm probably better off still going with "Hey" with no subject
I've been going with, "Hi There" and I'm not proud of it.
Very flirty. I like where your head's at.

Not codified in any sense, but you generally don't want to have your own kids in your class. She has kind of a supervisory role - coordinating teacher - so she gets to know many of the teachers and evaluates them. So she cherry picks the right teacher for each of my kids' learning styles.

Which is interesting in and of itself, as my kids - 2.5 years apart - learn very differently.
My Dad taught German at my high school and my sisters and I all had him as a teacher. Everyone thought we had it easy. Hell, no we didn't have it easy! If I got a B on a test I would hear about it for a week. Not only that but if he gave my friends bad grades, I'd hear about it from them.

For those people who have bought (not leased) their car...why do you keep the dealer's license plate holder on your car? Next time you're driving, take a look at the number of cars have them on. All they're doing is giving free advertising. Totally different if you lease the car and probably have to keep it on there.

I immediately swapped mine for a Pens holder. Still have the sticker on it, though.

When I bought my car, the salesman actually asked me if it was okay that I wait for a tech to stop by so that he could put the dealership vinyl letters on the back of my car (they had to get the car from the holding lot, so it hadn't gone through that yet). No thanks, and keep your dealer plat holder, too.

I have a PlayStation plate holder on the rear, and a Champ Car holder on the front. The car came with CarMax vinyl on the rear; I don't think they market vehicles until they've been branded.

I just utilize the PIT maneuver when needed, presuming that life has given the jagoff ahead of me enough warnings.

Dealer stickers and/or plate frames come off as soon as the car gets home.

That reminds me of something that grinds my gears: front license plates. Thank goodness Pennsylvania doesn't require those abominations.
