People who post memes reminding others how sarcastic they are.
If you were doing it right you wouldn’t need to remind anyone.

Thankfully, our Teams meeting is at 9:30.
Very reasonable hour.

I am irate about this today.my boss has a weekly Teams meeting for us Mondays at 7:00AM. today we all waited around almost 20 minutes for him to join and he never did because he forgot.
I have to jump on the beginning of my HR Director's call with the President/CEO every Monday at 11 to discuss current state of recruitment. Last week, he was 30 minutes late.
This week, same deal. Boss texts him at 11:25, he asks for 11:45. Get back on at 11:45, he doesn't get on until noon.
Talking to him until 12:30, he then says he has to jump on another call and will get back on with us at 12:45. It is now 1:05 and there is no sign of him. I have wasted 2 1/2 hours of my fcking day not being able to make any other calls because I've been in nonstop limbo.
At what point do you just say, "Hey, I don't want to take up your time, I will email you if I have questions"?!

Those stupid Christmas commercials where a guy or girl goes out any buys not one but TWO new cars without talking to their significant other. You know like spending over 100k is no big deal at all.
SNL did a great skit on it this past weekend.

Been saying that for years. My wife would react in similar fashion to the SNL wife...without the cheating.

My wife used to babysit for a very wealthy family. The mom woke up on Christmas morning a couple years ago to a new BMW SUV with a red bow on top sitting in their driveway... and was pissed because it wasn’t the model she wanted.

I almost bought my wife’s Acura without her driving it. She got very ill the day we were going to look, I went without her. I brought one home to show her and she loved it, but was not well enough to drive it. She gave me permission to buy it alone, but I decided against it.

I bought a car one time without telling the wife. A vintage BMW M6. I told her about it when the car was pulling up on the trailer. Ended up being kind of a tough situation for a very young marriage.

5 hours before our change freeze starts: "can you build, test, and deploy this new app before the change freeze?"
GTFO, you must be insane.

We had one that went like this:
12/7: received contract (new client)
12/11 after biz hours: talked through specs of what they wanted their process to look like
12/14: Against all odds, I was able to get the stories written, get it into this sprint, and coding has already begun...
12/17: Client: "Is it ready to use yet? No? So, we have to do things manually until it's done?!?!"
Come on, man...the fact that it's being coded already is insane...

Those people are the worst. They're also the same people who will then expect that of you every time in the future, IME.

Today must be the day for those things.
VP: "hey meow. this douchebag PM said that you can easily do this."
meow: "I can do it, but I wouldn't call is easy and with the Covid work, it won't be until after this surge and after the vaccine deployment is finalized."
VP: "oh he said you can easily do it."
meow: "I mean...I know how to do it, but it is at least 20 hours of work. I don't have that bandwidth. And he shouldn't be calling work others do "easy"."
VP: "totally agree. let's circleback in a few weeks."
meow: "sounds great. happy holidays."

Sheetz shutting down their food area to clean during the lunch hour rush. I get it, but it's still annoying.

The **** post office.
Mrs K ordered some X-mas stamps for $11. Informed Delivery shows that they were delivered. They weren't. Submitted an inquiry online a couple days ago and got a reply e-mail with a number to call. Called the number and got an automated attendant that gave me 20 options, none of which matched what the e-mail said to choose. No option to speak to someone either. I picked the closest thing to what the e-mail said and eventually I was able to enter the tracking number. At that point I was told that there was a report or something on that tracking number and that the auto attendant was accessing the details. Well, she came back just to say it "was resolved." Um, ok. A few more minutes going around with this AI nightmare before finally being told that I would be connected to an agent. Wait time will be more than 1 hour. I hung up. Tried to call the local post office. Phone rang at least a dozen times, until it asked me for an access code. Anyone want to bet that if I show up there tomorrow, they'll tell me that they can't help me?

That order I posted about above? It took six days to get from the warehouse into the USPS pipeline. My guess is it was sitting in bins waiting to be scanned and sorted. Ridiculous.
