The ones I've been getting keep leaving a message saying that this is the last call and I've missed my opportunity unless I call back immediately.

Over the last week, I have actually started to get a whole spree of scam text messages with links in them. Primarily coming from 646 area codes (Manhattan). It's weird because I don't think I ever received a single scam text up until about two weeks ago, and I've had about a half dozen in that time frame.

Yeah, what the actual ***** is up with that? I don't get as frequently as you're saying, but at least once a month I get this call from a number in like Tennessee or Arkansas."Hi, my office has been trying to reach you regarding your vehicle's extended warranty..."

Is it a phishing attempt or is it a real product?

I get a lot of spam calls from my same area code and prefix. I think they do it that way so you're more likely to answer??

I get calls all the time from local numbers and even the names of real people on my caller ID. Scammers clone legit numbers to try to get people to answer.

Konami used to do that. They'd send them out pretty much in conjunction with the quarterly IT security test we all had to take, that I did one time in Japanese and got 100% simply by choosing the longest answer for each question.

I wear a hat all day every day, but we never turn our camera's on for meetings. The only time I take it off is if we are interviewing someone then I actually attempt to fix my hair.People wearing hats on Teams meetings. Really?
