Because you know Chicago has the best pizza? Not really the right thread for this because it's not exactly grinding, but: I could go my whole life without reading another discussion about which geographic area has the best pizza and be perfectly content.

When I lived in Sparta, WI there was a place called Slice of Chicago that had some really good pizzas. One was a 'club' pizza that was slathered with warm mayonnaise.

I hope those people don't mean all NY pizza. They can't all be as good as Sbarro's. That said, if I had to choose, it's a thin line between NY and Philly pizza for me. Chicago would follow both. Also people who talk about how good NY pizza is. I'm from NY. There are some bad pizza places

when we were in Italy our friends took us to this place in Milan: http://www.pizzaclubnolimits.com/index.php?i=home
it's kind of like Fogo De Chao but for pizza rather than delicious meats.
we tried a lot of different toppings, one of which was coffee grounds. true story. Tuna and Olives was by far, the most disgusting.

The region that has the best pizza is southwestern Italy, but somehow the grease rags they serve in NY get high praise.

Maybe you two shouldn't be such uncultured swines, then I recall you're both in Philly so it's not your fault.

The Japanese put mayo on pizza all the time. Then again, they put mayo on a lot of stuff. Current Domino's offerings in Japan include the Shrimp Mayonnaise (shrimp, green peppers, corn, mayo, tomato sauce) and the Mayo Jaga (potato, sausage, double mayo, tomato sauce). They're also offering an "Ultra Cheese" pizza that is an XL pizza with 1 kg of cheese, and a "Premium Seven Cheese" pizza that comes topped with Danish Blue Cheese, Italian Bocconcini, Hokkaido Camembert, Parmesan, Gouda, Cheddar, and Mozzarella, and for some reason also includes a side of maple syrup.

The Kit Kat factory was in the last episode of Super Factories in Science Channel. It was pretty interesting to see just how many flavors they had, and why they’re so popular in Japan (extra points if you know why without googling). That there are actual Kit Kat shops that sells nothing but them amazes me.Ooh, Shyster.... tell them about Kit-Kat pizza in Japan.

The greatest benefit of living in a city with a large Japanese population is that there are Japanese markets that sell Japanese Kit-Kats.

Wait until he hears about the M&M store; which is right next to the Peep store.

Speaking of Japanese stores, I have more of a than a gear grinder: I really like pens, stationery, and office supplies. The Japanese really like pens, stationery, and office supplies. So it's no surprise that some of the biggest/best pen companies in the world are Japanese, like Sailor, Pilot, Uni-ball, Pentel, Tombow, and Namiki, and many non-Japanese companies make products specifically for the Japanese market. One of the things I want to do in Japan was to go to a top-tier stationary store. I didn't get to that on the last trip, so to pass time while I'm mostly stuck in my house, I was Googling the best stationary store in Tokyo. And I find out that one of the top picks—namely, the 100+-year-old, 12-story, Itoya store—is literally around the block from the hotel in Ginza where we stayed five years ago. I could have walked there in a minute.
Edit:
This is the interior of the store: https://matcha-jp.com/en/1176
Dammit.

The 2nd best pizza I've had was the brick oven place in DeLand, Florida.
