Man if I had to bet on a dodint take vs a meow take I'm taking dodint every time but I'm with meow here. They come in a container. Do you pour your milk into a separate pitcher when you get home too?

Now just admit that there is a proper way to take them out of the container and we’ll be cooking with gasoline here baby

dodint and meow are both wrong.

meow - how weak are you that you can’t handle a couple ounce imbalance?

dodint - an egg container? what the hell?

I take out 1A and 6B, then 1B and 6A, etc. working my way inwards and distributing the weight evenly from all angles.

Egg trays use the space best. Your eggs stack vertically rather than taking up the footprint of an 18ct egg carton. You also can see at a glance how many are left because it's open top. And best of all, there is no fussing over what end to grab from, just take the one on top.

Similar to this, but, nicer:

Your egg container example isn't even containing eggs

Save room by putting these jars in a larger container.

dodint has a sleeve for his comb, a skull for his brain, a wallet for his money and an egg container for his eggs

Faf. Buddy. If I had a frigging built in egg holder, would we be having this conversation?

Also. Eggs should not be kept on the door

I never understood that saying. Where am I taking the piss? Why would I want to take someone else's piss? I don't keep my own piss, so why would I want someone else's piss?

British saying is dumb.

We get about 8-10 eggs a day from my hens so I have egg cartons all over the place.

(You aren't supposed to put farm-raised eggs in a refrigerator. They can last 6-8 weeks on a counter).

My method of pulling eggs is 1A, 6B, 2B, 5A etc. End up with a zig zag pattern when there’s 6 left

This is the first time that I've ever heard the expression. It doesn't make sense.

"Take the piss" may be a reference to a related (and dated) idiomatic expression, piss-proud, which is a vulgar pun referring to the morning erections which happen when a man awakens at the end of a dream cycle (each about 90 minutes in length throughout the night) or may be caused by a full bladder pressing upon nerves that help effect erection. This could be considered a "false" erection, as its origin is physiological, not psychosexual, so in a metaphoric sense, then, someone who is "piss-proud" would suffer from false pride, and taking the piss out of them refers to deflating this false pride, through disparagement or mockery.[5][6] As knowledge of the expression's metaphoric origin became lost on users, "taking the piss out of" came to be synonymous with disparagement or mockery itself, with less regard to the pride of the subject.

This is how I've always done it...but I thought it was crazy...smart, but unnecessary.

Putting eggs in a different thing is putrid...that's the least efficient thing...

Having fragile food taking up a large footprint is Neanderthal level organizational skills. Better give some prime real estate to this 2" tall pallet of eggs instead of just putting them in a taller container. I'm sure you can't hear me over the din of banging those rocks together to get a spark to warm your chicken patty.
