The move here, among a disturbingly broad demographic set, is to dress normally from the waist up but from the waist down it's pajama bottoms and slippers. Not 'joggers' (although those are also certainly - weirdly - popular) and sandals. PJ pants and fuzzy slippers. At the grocery store.

Down in the Baltimore/DC area this weekend I saw at least three vehicles blow past regular 75 mph traffic in the breakdown lane going like 90 with an exit not especially close. Not emergency vehicles either, regular ones with no rollers or anything. Is this a regular thing now or just weird coincidence?
