Isn't it usually the Maroon 5 guy? Adam something?

The tribute concert was a few months after Freddie died in 1991. Adam Lambert - who would likely be surprised to learn he was in Maroon 5 - was 10 years old at the time.

A bunch of different people sang with Queen. George Michael, Seal, Lisa Stansfield, Robert Plant, Elton John, Liza f**king Minelli, to name a few. It was a pretty epic show.

Good effort by me. No way I should know the difference between Adam Levine and Adam Lambert.

Yeah, I mix those guys up all the time as well...so normally I just go, "Oh, is that what's his ass from Panic?" because I'd rather forget a name than say the wrong one...

Stairway to Heaven is another gem brought to us by Wayne's World, FYI.

(albeit, briefly)
this joke/scene always annoyed the hell out of me because in the non-theatrical version the notes are just a generic riff and not the opening to Stairway

unlike you fossils I wasn’t old enough to see WW in theaters so it always irked me

The takeaway from Wayne's World should not be how complicated copyright law is, or acknowledging the irony of known admitted copyright thieves withholding clearance of repertoire whose provenance was itself disputed. It should - and always should remain - Thou Shalt Not Play Songs From The Forbidden List In A Music Store Type Environment. Other songs include (but are not limited to): Smoke On The Water; Sweet Home Alabama; Voodoo Child (Slight Return); Sweet Child O' Mine; Smells Like Teen Spirit; anything Eddie Van Halen wrote; Back In Black.

I’m moving to Charlotte in September and I’m applying/reserving an apartment. $75 application fee and $200 reservation fee. Ok, fine

As I perform the transactions, I got hit with a $3 and then $6 “””””convenience”””””” fee. This **** should not be **** legal

The property managers that I rent from charge 5% fee on your rent to use a credit card so I do ACH payments from my bank account.

I've never seen Wayne's World mostly because I don't like Mike Myers. Of course I've seen clips.

Any "Rewards" program that doesn't involve actually getting "free" stuff. Allstate and Xfinity, specifically.

I mean really, it would be easy for Xfinity to offer free PPV movies, events and the like but no, their rewards are discounts on theme parks, a sweepstakes for a gaming chair, $75 credit for a mobile referral, Minions activity sheets, and dollar movie night. You can't even offer free movie night?

They would seriously be better off not offering a rewards program for as annoyed I get when I see what they consider "rewards." Give me actual free stuff or quit wasting my time.

Verizon would give small gift cards for Amazon, Starbucks, TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Homegoods, and a bunch of others. Usually $3 or $5. Now, they've stopped doing that and are doing random things like Xfinity. Stupid, but it is what it is.

Now in Western Kentucky.

It's traveled 1100 miles to get to me. From Somerset. I could be there in a half hour.
