the size of bottle that windshield wiper fluid is sold compared to the size of windshield wiper fluid reservoirs. why are these not universal? virtually every bottle of fluid i see is the same size. doesnt seem like rocket surgery to make the reservoir the same size

Jacket was delivered today. Size chart was wrong, 4XL CHN does not equal XL US. fml
Nice sleeping bag.
For a dog, maybe.

Other way around. The jacket is a M/L at best.

Oh, I thought they had sent you a legit 4X. Somehow what you got is even worse.

Like how hot dogs are sold in packs of 10, but buns are sold in packs of 8. There is a sandwich gap built into the supply chain.

Especially because Mrs Tif and I both really like the style, and it sort of checks all the boxes for what I want in a casual 3-season jacket.

People in China are much smaller, so makes sense.

Problem is, this was the company's recommended size guide published on the Amazon page. Their assertion was that their 4XL = US XL. And it very much does not. And they do not make a 5XL.

The Regal takes a full bottle. Only car I've ever had that does.

The Delorean took a full bottle which I thought was impressive. Then again, with the motor in the rear what else are you going to do with all that space up front.

In my experience travelling around the world, I find it very difficult to acquire XL sizes. Overgrown Americans, we are.

shmenguin doesn't even use washer fluid, might accidentally get on the paint and expose a clean surface.

When I went to Japan, I got a iirc 2 XL tee that said Tokyo in kanji. Got back to the hotel, and I couldn't even pull it down over my shoulders.

A few months prior, my boss visited the Japan office and checked into his room: The bed was so small his feet dangled off the end of the bed. He had to request a gaijin room, which I didn't know was even a thing.

I bought an XXL rugby jersey in Ireland. It barely fits when I'm in marathon shape let alone now.

Also, for the Mccandless North Hills Folk, who's still dealing with power outages? We lost power last night at 11:30, they're now saying 4PM today we should have power.

A cup of coffee in Montreal was actually like....a 6 ounce cup of coffee. Which I suppose is the appropriate amount of coffee for most of the civilized world but it not appropriate for me

Mine was on when I woke up this morning.

However, I must be on a different portion of the grid than your area, if I recall correctly.

My folks are in this boat. I asked the one news lady on Twitter what the cause was, they said a transformer completely failed so they have to install a new one. ?

I had originally heard 1pm for restoration, then 1-3pm, now I'm seeing your 4pm. Wonder what the real story is. My parents are pushing 80 but in very good health, though I still worry that they have no heat.

Also, potholes around here are criminally offensive. I hit one with my car on the freeway and it bulged my tire - so now I have to replace that too. Our roads are just garbage.

There is a cavernous one right at the McKnight/279 on ramp that's really hard to avoid, especially when people are trying to sneak past everyone in the left lane.

There are a couple car killer potholes on the 101 right around SFO.... which I have to drive past twice a day, every day.

Yea - it's awful. At 11 last night, we had what was called a brown outage - everything was real dimm, this is when my sound bar got killed. Then at 11:30 total darkness.

When I left the house this morning it was 47 degrees. If it doesn't come back on until 4, it's going to be awful, I'm just hoping my pipes don't freeze. They're all pretty well insulated as I have garages on both sides, but still a major worry.
