If the serving size for Pop-Tarts is "one pastry," then they shouldn't put two in each packet.

I wish Sheetz, Speedway, etc would have a separate line for people paying for gas with cash. We are almost there with those giant self serve lottery machines but I always seem to get behind the "gimme $20 on pump 5" guy when I am in checking out. I understand people like/need to use cash for stuff but man slows things down. Meanwhile I use my travel credit card and get extra points for gas and then redeem those points for travel while the $20 cash guy sits at home..lolPre-8 am lottery ticket buyers. People just want to get their coffee and not be late for f**** work. I almost held off on this when a week ago a guy in front of me at the gas station bought some stuff, was going to buy lottery tickets after his initial transaction, noticed I was behind him and stepped aside so I could pay and get on my way. What a nice man. Then I got stuck behind one of them again today so Frig these people.

Out and about yesterday, had to get gas. I was in the left turn lane to do a U behind an SUV. They did a U in front of me, and turn into the same Chevron I was about to go to (hey, small world!). The first two pumps in from the driveway were open in-line right next to the quickie-mart thing. Instead of pulling into the forward-most pump, she stopped at the first one. So I had to dog out and go around her and slot into the second one. I shut down, got out, went through all the motions of getting gas, and as I'm about to insert the pump into my car, I realize the lady has not yet even gotten out of her car, and is head-down drooling on her phone. So I started pumping gas, as you do, and she never made any sort of gesture that she's even thinking about getting out of her car. I got to the point where I'm finishing up, and I saw her jostling in the car. She got out......... and immediately proceeded straight for the quickie-mart. Gas cap still closed. There were approximately six open parking spots surrounding the building when we pulled in.

I had to buy an adapter for the adapter for the adapter (yes, you read that right) to connect an extension lance to my Campbell Hausfeld pressure washer.

My sister introduced me to DietBet and my fat ass is down 17 pounds since January even hindered by my broken back.
Who knew after all this time it would be the threat of losing $125 that would encourage me to get serious about losing some tonnage?

For those that may have binge watched The Office recently, I am picturing Mindy Kaling's annoying face/voice/character ingesting a tape worm...

Yeah. She is the weakest link in that chain by a fair margin.

...are when people blast their windshield wipers on full speed for every type of rainfall. I followed a guy for nearly 15 minutes this morning who had his wipers on full speed, despite it only misting.
I always like to leave, if possible, another gear up on the wipers should the rain get heavier. This guy, and many like him, just go full blast all the time.

Add cars that only have 3 or 4 speeds for their wipers to that list. My wife's CR-V only has a few, and most of the time it's either too slow or too fast for the conditions. Whereas my TL has like 42 different speeds.

For some reason the MINI doesn't really do intermittent wipers. On the slowest setting they go continuously slow, until you come to a stop and then they stop as well.

My TL does this (doesn't stop entirely, but slows down considerably), and it's a feature that I actually like.Source of the post until you come to a stop and then they stop as well.

My wife's last car, a Civic, had three speeds. Infuriating.

Mrs. F hates the rain sensing wipers. The lack of a steady rhythm distracts her.

I had a 1990 Chevy Cavalier that had the intermittent setting, but you could actually adjust it with a slider on the lever. I absolutely loved that. With my Civic, it's either off, low, or high. As a result, when you are driving through that nuisance mist, I essentially have to keep flicking it on low when there is enough rain to affect my vision. It's almost habit at this point.
And yes, I hate people that have the wipers flying back and forth in a light mist. That's how you wear them down, running them on dry glass.

I think my Hyundai has 7 settings.
Push the lever down once for speeds 1-5. Push it down twice for ultra speed. Push it up once for a single wipe.
