Considering the amount of takes, coverage, time between set-ups, etc. I would say not very often.I've always wondered how often, if ever, actors get drunk/high for a specific role/scene where their character is in that particular state
obviously not for a first person perspective but to act in a similar manner. it annoys me when an actor is acting drunk but it's not how an actual drunk person acts

He asked Spielberg for permission to drink for this scene, and he ended up so thoroughly loaded that he had to be carried to set and nothing they filmed of him was usable; like he ended up rambling about his own personal problems in real life, not in character. (They were able to salvage the time to get the reverse/reacts from Brody and Hooper) He was so embarrassed, he promised to be stone sober the next night when they re-shot his stuff. As I recall there are 4 or 5 different camera set ups to capture his performance, and he did the full speech without breaking on each set up. There may be a couple inserts, but the final edit of the scene is mostly comprised of 4 or 5 separate 8-minute 1-ers, cut together for pacing/storytelling impact. And to a man, every person in the cast and crew that was there for it was transfixed, much like we are as the audience.tifosi77
I believe Shaw was hammered for the Indianapolis scene in Jaws. But I may have that wrong
This part I might be making up, but I recall hearing that some time after the film of that first night was developed and screened at dailies, out of respect for Shaw, Spielberg had it and the negative destroyed so that it wouldn't see the light of day.

New Sleep Number bed was set to be delivered today between 11 am - 2 pm. So I cleared out the room, moved the old bed/mattress to the spare room, cleaned, all that ****. My wife gets a call at 11:30 that the delivery guy sprained his ankle and they need to reschedule for 10/12. Son of a dodint.

I bought a thing of red pepper flakes and the holes for the jar are smaller than the flakes themselves so it takes 5 minutes to get 5 flakes to come out

10/12?
Do they only have one delivery guy?

That was my question. I have a call in with the store and person who sold it to us but I don't expect much to happen.10/12?

Exactly what I was thinking. They'd be throwing in some expensive pillows and **** if my delivery was delayed by weeks.10/12?

Speaking of sleep number beds... Mrs. F woke up sleeping on the base twice last week after her side completely deflated in the middle of the night. Called customer service who was fairly helpful but they wanted me to cap off the air hoses... apparently the guys who set the bed up didn't leave the caps. So now she's sleeping on my side and I'm sleeping in the guest room till the replacement caps arrive.

Will they allow you to pick it up? Try to hire a local mover. They'd probably be cheaper anyway. Most of the movers I know are freelance and do pickups for customers at different stores. Unless it was "free delivery" then I'd want something thrown in yeahThat was my question. I have a call in with the store and person who sold it to us but I don't expect much to happen.10/12?

After an hour and a half on the phone, I finally was connected to somebody that could actually do something and was basically told that they're "working on it." They'll update me in 24 hours. Suuuuure. Not a great start, Sleep Number. Especially considering how much **** money we spent on this.Exactly what I was thinking. They'd be throwing in some expensive pillows and **** if my delivery was delayed by weeks.10/12?

That's how long they would have before I cancelled my order with that particular store.

It's not the store's fault, unfortunately. If they can't move up the rescheduled date, I'll see if I can get some sort of store credit for fancy pillows. That's how long they would have before I cancelled my order with that particular store.

Remove the plastic cap with the holes, eliminate the filter. Dose the flakes into the lid before dispersing into the food.I bought a thing of red pepper flakes and the holes for the jar are smaller than the flakes themselves so it takes 5 minutes to get 5 flakes to come out

I don’t know, on one hand it is really comfortable and has a 15 year warranty so it will be fixed at no cost. On the other I never had to sleep in my kids old room because my traditional mattress broke before. These posts are not good advertising for sleep number beds.
