People who refuse to consider tine zones when scheduling meetings. Central timer says “Everyone looks free at 4!” Hey cha cha my work calendar doesn’t include my 5:30 Eastern therapy appointment.

I've learned to block out from 5 PM up until an hour or so after the appointment time when I have stuff after work because of previous experience of this happening to me

We don't have multiple time zones, but many overzealous administrators that think everyone should work obsessively and schedule 5:00 meetings. That's a no from me, dawg.

When Amazon doesn't display the lowest price on an item - one that's both shipped from and sold by Amazon directly. It always pays to check the "Used and New from..." link.

Our trash is Tuesday mornings. Recycling is every other week. Yard waste is the weeks in between. Every. Single. Time. Our yard waste can gets missed. I have to call the solid waste division and put it a missed can ticket. They say they will get it Thursday. They never come Thursday and come Friday. So I have a can sitting by the curb from Monday night to Friday after work every other week. I'm waiting to get a peepee smack from the HOA about it, but there isn't much I can do. FWP

Every other week would be nice. Ours is once a month, but they'll take anything you put up there - even loose branches under 4' long.

Pickup here for everything is weekly, but we only have enough yard waste to put that bin out every other week.

I am glad that I do not have a HOA. That would go very poorly.

I love having a HOA. And our management company is super strict about it. It's nice. It keeps people from using old tires as planter borders and other stupid stuff.

I'm in the "no way in hell" camp when it comes to living under a HOA. I'd rather live in a van by the river than have some group of random dipshits telling me what I can do on my own property.

You couldn't pay me enough to live under the yoke of an HOA, never mind expend extra money for the privilege. If I want to use stacked old tires for planters (which, by the way, are excellent containers for deep-rooting veg like potatoes) than I'm going to do just that. I'm not going to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a piece of property to have fcking Norm down the way veto my decisions.
