I HATE putting up blinds. I am as lazy as possible with it...if I can jury rig the existing set up, I'll do it.

I've become a huge fan of the cordless ones.

It takes me longer to get the blinds out of the box than it does to install them...what are y'all doin'?

Tax documents that come in the forms you have to tear off 3 of the edges. Just put it in an envelope.

Don't know what happened, but for the last three days my left ankle feels like I had been in a cast for two months and it was just taken off. It's so stiff and mobility is gone. I can't even walk down the stairs like an adult.

So, does anyone have a recommendation for a good texting app?

Verizon messenger+ just updated, and now, evidently, texts that I'm sending to my wife aren't being received per some setting that changed the sms designation to a 'chat' designation. Her contact seems to be the only one affected. Verizon's website has a Q/A thread asking wtf, and Verizon has evidently no answer. Whoops.

If you have google accounts, you can use hangouts.

Hangouts works best if you have Sprint, but it's probably still the right answer.

I've used Handcent NextSMS for years and have never had a problem with it.

Thanks all...I switched to hangouts for now. The lack of customization on hangouts also grinds my gears.

The lunchmeat thing is real. I hate when meat gets wet after a few days in the fridge. Wet and slimy.

If you put a paper towel or napkin in the bag with your lunch meat it will absorb the moisture and keep your lunch meat less slimy. Pro tip: put it under the wax paper so that it doesn't touch the lunch meat. The towel will usually be soaking wet after a couple days so you need to change it every other day or so.

Possibly work related too - but my gears grind when people argue over the phone over trivial stuff when on a work call with more than 5 people.

"How are you" is different from "hello". When you say that and I respond with "doing well how are you", respond. Otherwise say nothing or just "hello".

Nothing would be my #1 choice.

This gentleman pretty much just makes his own "lunchmeat" in the crockpot by shredding chicken, a beef roast, or something similar to those two things. The shredded beef tastes better than any lunchmeat, lasts longer, and is at least $2 cheaper per pound. Plus its *probably* healthier. And its stupidly easy to make.
