My professor keeps saying "Tickle 4" for a chemical "TiCl4". I cringe each time he says it.

Stay at home Moms that come up with cutesy occupation names for their Facebook profile. Today I saw "Dust Detective at CSI Cleaning Services". Listen, no one is denying for a second being a stay-at-home mom is a picnic, but you don't need to pretend you have an actual job to puff yourself up. This especially applies if your kid(s) are in school.

They probably graduated with those folks from the School of Hard Knocks.

No, my personal phone. I woke up and the thing was dead. Googled it, and it is now apparently a known glitch with the LG V10. Went the the Verizon store at lunch and there was actually already someone in there dealing with the same issue. Factory replacement being sent overnight, but it will still mean two days without a phone. If the new one borks, imma demand a Pixel XL.You got a phone on the first day?
I got my desk phone and PC on a Wednesday and my cell on the Thursday. Started Monday.
Private sector is so glamorous, tif. Jelly.
The work shenanigans began when the help desk (which is in New Jersey) told me to update USB drivers so I could use my docking station, and my laptop BSODed and turned into a small boat anchor around 2 pm today. So that was quite fun, and means day 2 will start with a trip to the hardware drop.

Had a 7 week beard going on. Prob the longest I've grown in my life. Looking really nice, even started using the beard cream and the wax that I made fun of my hipster friend for using, to give it a nice shape. I tried to do some grooming and kept getting it to lopsided and took a another chunk out, then started thinking about this meeting I have at work and convinced myself it'd be better to take it down. So I trimmed to to about what would be normal length after about a week or two. So now I'm in the space where no matter what it looks like crap until a little more time passes and its grown in more. Really PO'd at myself for this. Like an unhealthy amount. I was really starting to love that thing

I shaved mine to onboard at my new job and then found out my supervisor works from New Hampshire and I'll never see him. Wooo.

Yeah I haven't even crossed paths with any boss all week. Have the meeting tmw and it will probably like 20 minutes.

My bus broke down this morning. The brakes locked up and it was dragging itself around at like 5mph. I was mostly asleep and thought we were somehow trying to get up a very large hill. We ended up in the Kohls parking lot in Irwin/NH or whatever, had to walk about a half mile to a stop and catch the next one. Ended up being about an hour late. Blah.

My ex that still insists on emailing me uses lol like most people use punctuation. This was literally her most recent email.
Watching a Pens game is not a reason to laugh. I would like to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe something funny might have happened, but knowing her style I'm going with probably not.
A hockey game reminded her of me? Why is that funny?
"Call me sometime" is not something worth laughing about. If anybody knew her, you would not be laughing.
I haven't spoken a word to her in at least three or four years, and she still emails like once every month or so.
Aside from the glaring spelling of penquins, which is another geargrinder in itself, none of that is funny or lol-worthy.Was watching the penquins game the other night lol. it reminded me of you lol. call me sometime lol.

I was on a gaming board years ago that had "lol is not punctuation" as a filter for lol because so many people did just that.
