Unless it comes with a remote control and instructions in three languages, I don't want to hear about 'fancy toilets'.

I can't believe that's an actual clip from a movie.

Someone used my info to buy airline tickets coming out of Stockholm a few months ago. They were flagged and I wasn't charged but had to get a new card. Annoying."Your card has been declined and blocked for potential fraudulent behavior, did you authorize this purchase?"

A friend was venting about a situation in a condo they bought regarding internet setup. Apparently the Verizon folks need access to the ground floor unit's outdoor space to help setup everything. Said neighbor is refusing access unless he is present, and his next availability is in 2-3 weeks. Which is completely unreasonable to have someone wait like that for Internet. 1) this is a utility and 2) they are using his yard to get access to the outside of the building, so not like they are digging anything up.
This is illegal, yes?

Depends on where they actually need access. In my area, condos have easements that go past the sidewalk to allow utilities to do their work without homeowner permission for this very reason. Sounds like their neighbor is a dick, and if I were them, I'd buy clogs and walk around heavy footed at night as a thank you to them.A friend was venting about a situation in a condo they bought regarding internet setup. Went to apply for a new CSP card today, and unfroze my accounts at Experian and Equifax. Go to login to Transunion, and it throws a message saying my account is locked. I check which bureau that Chase uses, and every site says Experian. Okay, apply for the card. It went to Transunion, which is locked. So now I'll have to make two phone calls today to fix it. My own fault.

How often do you chuckleheads get orders cancelled because items are out of stock? I ordered stuff from two different places over the past two months and both were cancelled. I guess I was able to order stuff (on sale) that was available per the website yet the order was eventually canceled. Got my $$ back but I want my stuff.

Exactly. My experience with trump university was much more fruitful than this nonsense.

went shopping for jogger pants today at a few different stores. At Target, they only had men’s extra small for joggers. I’m relatively lean and wear 30-31 size waisted pants and these pants were way too tight on me. That said, they were still somehow 4 inches or so too long for my legs too
maybe 1 out of 20 pairs of pants I buy fit length-wise; all the others I have to get hemmed otherwise. This is the life of being short

Mrs Tif is away for work this week, which is my green light for Chinese takeout. I ordered via GrubHub from a place we've ordered from in the past, with delivery slated for 6:55 pm. It is now 8:36 and I do not yet have my food. I called the restaurant and the guy swore up and down the food was delivered, and a woman accepted the delivery. (You will no doubt remember from just a second ago when I mentioned Mrs Tif was traveling this week.) I'm like "I have a video doorbell that will show no one's been here, and the app still says 'Keep your phone handy. Arriving shortly.' I don't doubt your guy did in fact deliver my food.... just not to me."

did grubhub not give you a refund?
I’ve had this issue with DoorDash before and they will typically refund me

Yeah, DoorDash is really good about both automatic refunds via the app, and refunds after chatting with support on the app. My only gripe there is that the automatic refunds don't always cover the full amount of a missing item, so you have to pay attention. We didn't get eggrolls with our last order, and the auto refund was only covering half of it. Had to chat with them to refund the full amount, which is kind of absurd.

Grubhub and Doordash generally send notifications with pictures (of your front door) when they deliver. A while ago I got the delivery notification, but it was a different colored front door. I went over to my neighbor's house and got it lol.

This is just one of the reasons why I've stopped using the delivery apps. I'd much rather pick it up myself.

Pay a premium for inferior quality food with an unknown delivery time? For a transaction that the driver makes no money on and the restaurant makes no money on? This gentleman will pass.
