Well fortunately my wish for them to win every game I watch and lose all the rest has been granted thus far. Although I really have no reason to watch again... ordinarily there's an intriguing pitcher or something to draw you in. Not this time

I went to the second preseason game that year against the Mets. It was very surreal walking up to this state-of-the-art ballpark for the first time and seeing his statue there with flowers around it. I'm too young to have seen him in his prime, but you just knew it was a bittersweet day.
