Well. I guess we wouldn't have Cole and Musgrove. So you can sleep better now

Spin zone: GMNH gave us all these guys that go dominate elsewhere. Was he maybe a good GM and the coaching and development was just ass?

Part of being a good GM is having the right coaching and development, so impossible.

Disgusting to think about the rotation pirates could have right now.
You think Cole-Glasnow-Taillon-Musgrove-Morton sounds like a good rotation? Hmph
Well, they could actually still have musgrove, cole would have been gone in 2020 on his bajillion dollar yankee contract

Not being idiots, they could just have glasnow, taillon, musgrove.

Looks like they were a year or two late on blowing up in NH, hurdle, searage group. It does seem like they could have pieced together the talent to remain competitive, as opposed to the years of self harm. In trying to replicate success, they squandered what would have been an elite rotation. Obviously the archer trade has been a death sentence for this org, and it would be great for someone to come out and explain why they **** up so exceptionally with glasnow.

Musgrove’s peripherals last year indicated that he was going to be good. So this shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Think about those three in the rotation plus a version of Mitch Keller capable of throwing less than 20 pitches an inning. And a bullpen with Kuhl (should be a bullpen arm) and perhaps incrementally better versions of Holmes, feliz, rich rod. And if you REALLY want to dream, a premium prospect from a Felipe Vazquez trade

Pirates were never going to get a premium prospect from a Vazquez trade. The Cole trade was everything we needed to know on how they do trades.

Joe was good last year. Appears the new staff knew how to use him
