What is your winter thermostat setting?

For a long time, we kept the thermostat at 69 during the day and 65 at night. However, after I lost weight, I am chilly more often than not and with all the time we spend at home, comfort is paramount. Plus, we have two small children that like it warm. With that said, we just made the executive decision to raise the thermostat from 70 to 72. Whatever negligible increase there is in propane usage will be worth it, IMO.

What do you set yours at? Sticking to daytime settings since nighttime can vary greatly. Sorry @Gaucho, going with Fahrenheit ;)

69 all day/night.

Not for the memes, but because 68 doesn't keep up well enough.

Right now for winter its set (during the week)
68 from 8am to 10pm
65 from 10pm to 5:15am
66 from 5:15am to 8am.

Weekends
68 from 9am to 10pm
65 from 10pm to 7:30am
66 from 7:30am to 9am

During the day it runs off a sensor in our living room, at night it runs off a sensor in our master bedroom, then switches back to the living room sensor in the morning.

My temps are the same (day/night) but I have the zones setup differently on the weekends and the Monday when nobody is home.

I'm not getting out of bed at 63...**** that...I'd have a space heater parked on my schnutz if my place was set to such a barbaric temperature...

63 isn't bad at all. I wear sweatpants and a t shirt. Summer I keep it at 68. I prefer cooler temps.

this is an interesting point. a lot of it depends on the "what do you wear at home when you're comfy" question

I wear shorts and tshirts at home, regardless of season, so I need the ambient temperature to be warm enough. if I was more comfy in a sweatshirt, I'd probably pop the temp down a few degrees

This is our first winter in our new place. We had it set at 68 up until about Christmas. Just was a little too cold. Bumped it to 70 and it's been more comfortable, but I preferred the cooler setting at night. Bought the ecobee smart thermostat. Haven't installed it yet, but I'm excited to do so.
