That is great DD.

This whole Pruitt/Tennessee saga is crazy. This was a synopsis I enjoyed.
"Instead of reestablishing glory, Tennessee ended up microwaving rotting salmon. Fulmer was the fish at the SEC poker table from the moment he sat down. And Tennessee officials were the only ones in the league who failed to realize he was under-qualified, overmatched and destined to transition the corpse of Tennessee’s football program from a shallow grave to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. There’s a new batch of administrators now who would dream of the issues the program had under Butch Jones."

Yeah, he's had a pretty rough start at Jackson State. Apparently there's a thriving burglary market there.

Pure greed is what that's all about. They talk about taking soccer to its rightful place in the world. I doubt that mission statement severely. It's all how much money can line the pockets of the supposed 'elite'.

New overtime rules. In the 2nd OT, you have to go for 2. If still tied after 2 OTs, they go to the 2-pt conversion shootout. The 7-OT LSU-aTm game and the 4-OT PSU-Michigan game that I attended will be bygone relics.

Let's have a skills competition instead of two point shootout.

I give props to whoever came up with this rule. Solving a problem (long games) using a solution that no one likes.

Is it a problem though? I mean, how many college football games go past two OTs are so? The vast majority of CFB games don't even make it that far. When games do start to get into triple OT and beyond range, it captivates the national fanbase and is fun as hell to watch.

Most of these are just to get things in the TV window and have nothing to do with competition.
