Georgia's defense is absurdly good. What a performance so far.

#99 for Georgia is allegedly a true freshman. Dude is a freaking BEAST. And the best part is, he seems like a gentle giant too. He was great in his post-game interview.

In a vacuum, the replay review for targeting is a good idea. But ho boy has it been terribly executed. What a joke.

This was the right call. What's appalling about it is that it took such an absurd amount of time for replay to finally wake up to buzz down to look at it. Had Wisconsin not taken a timeout, they would have completely missed it. This goes along with the total botching of the play in the Ohio State-Minnesota game on Thursday night. They have to get hits like this out of the game and it's amazing to me that after 5-6 years of this rule being in place that it still happens once a game on average. In a vacuum, the replay review for targeting is a good idea. But ho boy has it been terribly executed. What a joke.

Eh, IMO the OSU Minnesota hit looked bad because the receiver ducked his head after the OSU defender already initiated his tackle. We wouldn't be talking about it if the receiver stayed upright.
I get that they need to take targeting out of the game, but the OSU defender was in the process of making a clean tackle before the Minnesota receiver ducked into it.

At least 2 Louisville and 2 Ole Miss players ejected for targeting tonight. (“At least” because I turned it off at half).
That’s a bold strategy, Cotton…..let’s see if it pays off for ‘em.
