College football devolving into the worst parts of the sport, blowouts and anemic offenses with mediocre QB play, during the playoffs is pretty hilarious.

Despite the game being a really good one, no one outside of the UGA/Bama fanbases won tonite. The rest of college football needs to catch up...and quickly.

disagree. Alabama lost. 49 of 50 states were ecstatic about that. I have nothing against Bama. as far as I know they don't cheat (despite what my UGA alum sister says about Saban and the refs  ) to win National Championships (looking at you Auburn) and they seem to be able to win no matter what assistant coaches leave and no matter what players come and go but I'm just tired of them. :scared:

If Kirby can't muster up the balls to put JT in, don't bother watching. Bennett wilts on the big stage.
we aren't going to let this shadjinx go unnoticed, are we?

I was going to take the high road......seriously though, the first 2 possessions, I was ready to dump him but I thought, give him 1 more set of downs. he improved which was a positive sign and was able to get his **** together. the dude is now a UGA legend.

Yeah, college football has a real problem. Not sure what to do about it, other than expand the playoffs and perhaps limit roster sizes.

thing is, it's actually really fun until the playoff happens. then you get reminded that all that fun was all for nothing and these 5-6 teams are all that actually matter

It doesn’t matter what assistant coaches leave when they’ll pay out the ass to replace them. Bill O’Brien is their OC. Doug Marrone, who was head coach for almost 100 (terrible) NFL games, is their **** offensive line coach. They spend more on assistants than the Steelers do.

really, until the final happens. With a few exceptions, the guys on bama and Georgia are so much bigger faster and stronger it is ridiculous. I watched a bit of the skycam channel and the size of those defensive players was outrageous.

Georgia's d-line is incredibly huge. It's nuts

Really happy for Stetson. What a weight off his shoulders.

This is fantastic. Still drunk the next day. Can't believe they let him on

they have jordan davis listed at 6'6 360. There's no way he's 360.

Meh. I think you overrate how much people hate Alabama.

I have Alabama fatigue I guess but I’d root for them any day over OSU or ND. Easily.

Programs create NIL departments (boosters?) to fundraise money and begin paying the athletes to come to their schools.

Too late. A&M boosters just committed $30MM in multi-year NILs for their incoming recruiting class. That’s just never going to be a reality for most schools.

I don't really follow college ball, so maybe there's a simple explanation. But can somebody tell me how 'Cincinnati' entered the chat as a power school that's worth calculating their national championship odds?
