The marte trade was great. Bell trade not so much

Perhaps Bell is much less valuable than Marte

I'd love to get the back story of what GMNH did to DK.

Hes not wrong. There wasn't much.

Thats what happens when you trade your best player for a #4 pitcher and an average corner infielder, instead of someone who could become your best player.

Word on the street is that Taillon is getting shopped. Might as well start the quote search now

Trade him before he needs a third TJ.

Guys with more innings pitched in a pirate uniform than Jamison Taillon:

Josh Fogg
Jeff Locke
Ian Snell
Trevor Williams

Jeff Karstens
Jimmy Anderson

He has 33 more innings in the black and yellow than James effing McDonald

I can’t believe Karstens had more innings as a buc than Taillon. Unreal. Easily the most disappointing Pirate in the GMNH era

I remember being drunk af with some friends at UPS during arts fest the night the Pirates took over first place in like 2011 or 2012 and he threw that night. Fun times

He was actually pretty solid here in 2011 and 2012. I'm shocked 2012 was his last season. Would have probably said 2014

It's the right move. Either trade Keller and Hayes too or use these savings to sign them for a few years so they're around when this young wave comes up

Agree with the Keller and Hayes concept but that decision doesn't need to be made right now. Hopefully Luis Gil. Also like what I've read on Kevin Alcantara and Luis medina.

Lots of low level intriguing prospects in the Yankees org.

Miggy Yajure, Roansy Contreras, Canaan Smith, and Maikol Escotto

From some random tweeter. Will have to verify and also research

None of the top 10 from their org. Although that doesn't mean much because they're ranked all over the map there.

Is his name actually "Canaan" or is that the board filter?
