I dont feel the need to celebrate something that shouldn’t even be celebrated. F you baseball for even coming up with some hairbrained scheme involving less minor league teams. F you f you f you. The mere fact that Curve PA has to release a statement saying “surprise, we still exist” makes me want to vomit. F baseball f baseball in its stupid face.

Speaking of vomit, the thought of josh bell hitting 6th or 7th in the yankee lineup in yankee stadium makes me want to vomit

“Let’s trade our 1B who led the league in home runs last season and a top pitching prospect for a worse version of said 1B who has put together half a season of production and a pitcher coming off his second Tommy John surgery before he’s thrown another pitch in the league.”

This reminds me a lot, like I said the other day, of NASCAR abandoning their roots. It's sad.

I had to reread this 2-3 times before I realized you were actually knocking on the Yankees, not the Pirates.

Look at me mixing things up. There's no doubt that Bell has more potential upside than Voit and Taillon provides more potential immediate impact than whichever pitcher the Yankees would send the Pirates way, but that's the kind of $7MM+ flier that teams like the Pirates can't take.

Voit going the Pirates way also does nothing but help the Yankees clear out one too many bat with no positional flexibility. Hayes ABSOLUTELY **** NEEDS TO START EVERY GOD DAMN GAME AT 3B NEXT SEASON AND IF HE DOESN'T SHELTON AND CHERINGTON CAN GET ****, so that moves Column over to 1B with Evans able to support as backup. No one gives a **** if this team is any good next year and Voit does nothing to help the draft position.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that Rule 5 players get paid the smallest amount of money allowed by the CBA

I assume they are still subject to service time stuff. But I don’t think there would be a situation where is both rule 5 eligible and arbitration eligible

After a miserable 2020 season, Gregory Polanco felt the need to return to the Dominican Winter League for the first time since 2013-14.

Thus far, Polanco has appeared in 13 games for Leones del Escogido. In 54 plate appearances, the 29-year-old outfielder is hitting .174/.294/.391 with two dingers, two doubles, and a triple. Although not great, this line is a step up from his .153/.214/.325 performance posted in the 2020 regular season with the Pirates.
What an absolute scrub.

I doubt the presence or absence of frazier and Musgrove impacts the win/loss record one way or the other.

I dont see any point in acquiring Voit unless its to trade him elsewhere for more high upside prospects
