We had doctors handing out medical cards for anything you could think of years before it was rec-legal. As long as the Dr. Isnt some petrified gnome like jeff sessions, they should give you the benefit of the doubt based on the actual results of using it.
Washington is/was different. The newer east coast MMJ programs make it a more expensive, lengthy and pain in the ass process. C2i's friend will have to do some leg work.

That list is constructed so that anyone can get it if they want it. Chronic pain and IBS are back doors in most states. There will likely be doctors who only exist to hand out recommendations. Find one and your "friend" is in business.

Your friend has IBS. He just doesn't know it yet.
Or maybe carpal tunnel syndrome - a neuropathy.

Marijuana company buys entire US town to create 'cannabis-friendly municipality'
American Green has agreed a deal to buy the town of Nipton for $5m (£3.8m).
The company will own 120 acres of land, which includes a school building, a hotel, mineral baths and a general store.

A K-Mart that recently shut down in Lancaster could become a grow op for MM in PA:

Thanks for sharing...that's interesting. At least they will actually be putting the building to good use.

As nice as it will be when it's legalized, I don't know if I could make the leap to edibles. They terrify me. In my trip to legal states I've never had one, but at least the one or two bad times I've had with the wacky weed, I knew it would be over within a couple of hours (which of course felt like 12  )

Sessions' master plan is working out really well for him. He's actually gotten republicans to go on record supporting progressive drug policy and democrats are ramping up efforts to deschedule. Meanwhile the middle finger from the legal states has only gotten more elevated and there are rumblings that his rescinding of the Cole memo is going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back with the war on this particular drug.

So good job on you Sessions.

It's more scientific now. Eventually you would fine your thc sweet spot in milligrams and act accordingly.

we're in the middle of a sea change. the progress really is happening exponentially. the funny thing about it is that PA passed one of the dumbest medical bills in the country, and by the time they really get a market going, the restrictions they put into place will be laughable, putting a fairly progressive state behind the curve.

and this is largely because session promoted the issue into the national spotlight. and when you do that to an issue that has 60-70% public support, what the hell do you think is going to happen?

Of course I have no idea where to get any and have no interest in dealing with police.

Then again, I don't know that I even really want to smoke any...

that's an artifact. they don't change it because what's the point of wasting energy.

but yeah...i've transfered alcohol over state lines. i'm a flat out outlaw.

Not exactly true. I could buy it on the next block, but that's not of interest.

Microdosing edibles, it’s a supplement.

Right... and my guess is cannabis will follow suit. Why change the laws? They're already there.

The City of Erie just passed an ordinance - fines of $25 for each possession (under an ounce) offense and $100 for smoking marijuana in public and/or possession of drug paraphernalia.

because this would affect business regulations. I can go jockey booze all over the northeast corridor, but I have no influence on the inventory that a retail shop offers.

In PA, you can't get wine/liquor shipped from out of state, correct?
