Combine that with a Predator 2 viewing and my posts start making a lot more sense in the movie thread.
:fist:
You guys need some stuff that's been produced in a legalized state.

I know someone that claims to import a selection from the West Coast. I've been too afraid to ask.

First day of recreational retail sales in Massachusetts. Long lines, 2 - 3 hour wait times.

Man....some day.
The same day we posted, Cuomo was in Buffalo saying:
We now have a working group that is putting together a piece of legislation that would do it, because the devil is in the details: How do you do it, where do you do it, what are the ages, etc.? What is New Jersey doing? What has Massachusetts done?"

"So that legislation is being crafted," he added. "I expect it to be introduced next year. The when and the how, we're not clear.

The next day:

NJ lawmakers unveil legislation legalizing marijuana
New Jersey lawmakers on Wednesday unveiled their latest proposal to legalize recreational marijuana for people 21 and over.

A joint Democrat-led Assembly and Senate committee is expected to discuss the measures Monday.

It’s the latest draft in a long-running effort to legalize recreational cannabis in New Jersey, where despite support from Democratic leaders, including Gov. Phil Murphy, the effort has stalled.

The measure allows for legalizing an ounce of marijuana for adults 21 and older — similar to previous drafts.

Changes in the new bill include a 12 percent tax rate on cannabis.

More and more states are successfully implementing marijuana legalization, and we need to keep learning from their efforts. Any change would take legislation. But I think it is time for Pennsylvania to take a serious and honest look at recreational marijuana.

Looking forward to it being legal and taxed the highest in the country and seeing no benefit from it.

In a hair over three weeks I'll be in California for the first time since they have recreational sales.
a friend of mine is going to visit his parents in Colorado for Christmas. his husband has chronic pain so they're planning on visiting a dispensary and are taking the risk to drive some back. he said if I checked in on their cat while they're gone he would be willing to mule some back for me. :pop:

Luckily for me my cousin was kind enough to give me a care package the first night. Didn't have to spend anything either, well worth it. Might be easier/safer to mule back some edibles.

And looks like NY is getting smart about this and will hopefully do something early 2019.

I saw this place opened in Altoona. They are popping up all over the state.

Wolf explains, "What I said yesterday was, basically, a result of the change in the environment. We can't just duck our heads in the sand and say things aren't happening."

Wolf's new lieutenant governor, John Fetterman, has spoken out in support of legalization, as has the auditor general, Eugene DePasquale.

DePasquale saying, "The idea that we are still throwing people in prison for this is insane."

But, a change would have to be approved by the Republican-controlled state legislature. The Republican leader in the Senate, Jake Corman, saying in a statement, "The governor's new position on the issue of legalizing the drug for recreational use is reckless and irresponsible... This sends the wrong message to our youth".

Wolf responds, "I think what he was talking about, his concerns were about marijuana. And, I think there are people that have that. I'm just trying to recognize that the state of New York, the state of New Jersey have made some decisions. And that we just can't ignore that."
