Bengals at Steelers - Week 10 -
Vilma saying that the Bengals kicked themselves in the foot gave me a chuckle.

At one point, he said the Bengals needed to get back to the run game, which up until that time had only produced like 2 positive yardage plays, lol.

Hopped on twitter and just searched “Vilma” guy was greeting Kirk up by both sides. He won’t have a job next year.

Conversely, Kenny no-neck Albert repeatedly commented on how Juju gave that football to some of his fans. They were his parents.

watching the game, i never would have thought the steelers won by 26. they are quietly efficient.
also juju isnt a 1 but he is probably the best 2.
steelers are fun to watch imo

Juju had his first drop last night. I agree that he's probably not a true #1, but if there ever was a 1B, he's slot right into it. Dude is money on 3rd down/when you need a play.

He’s not a #1 in the traditional sense, but if the game was on the line, I would feel totally confident throwing him the ball. Does that make him a #1? Maybe.

2 real things are standing out after last night.
Claypool is a problem for defenses, and if continues on his trajectory, I would make a Steeler for life. He's a monster.
Burrow looks like a legit QB, and if they get a better line, he's going to be a problem too.

i think they have 3 high level 2s - Diontae is better than Juju fight mewatching the game, i never would have thought the steelers won by 26. they are quietly efficient.

to me, a number one can be matched up with a number one CB and compete. you can game plan around juju and eliminate him. he is productive now (and with AB) because there is focus that needs to be given to other facets in teh offense. he is a complementary receiver, not someone that can anchor an offense. He’s not a #1 in the traditional sense, but if the game was on the line, I would feel totally confident throwing him the ball. Diontae is quicker and more slippery in space, but he drops too many balls. Agree that they have three high-level #2 WRs. All of them are lacking a thing or two that a legit #1 would have, but asking a defense to cover all three of them is showing that you don’t necessarily need a #1. Lost in all of this is that James Washington is capable in his own right.

I feel like DJ would wilt under the attention from the defense that JuJu gets.

I'll take our WR situation now over have a clear #1.

I'd trade one of them for an RB.

Conner isn't a pro bowler but I think the running game issues are more on the shoulders of the OL

They need to stop running out of the shotgun, and start running inside the tackles traditionally. They don't have guys fast enough to get on the edge both in the running game, and OL game anymore.Conner isn't a pro bowler but I think the running game issues are more on the shoulders of the OL
It's infuriating, but if they have the short game going, it doesn't matter, necessarily.

Not me. The difference between the number 10 RB in the league and the number 50 is too small for me to give ****. Conner is just fine.
Bengals at Steelers - Week 10 -
I also don't think Conner is good enough to be a feature back, and that needs rectified.
Bengals at Steelers - Week 10 -
I would settle for a guy that can stay up past 2 yards after getting touched. Conner for whatever reason, can't consistently run through tackles like he could before, and if you're a power back that can't do that, well, there isn't much time left in the NFL.Not me. Too much side to side run plays. Tunch and Wolf were harping a lot about guys missing blocks, DeCastro pulling too slowly and not getting out in front of the runner, missed assignments, etc etc. DeCastro is a stud but I wonder about his injuries this year because the run game was better with Dotson at RG.Conner isn't a pro bowler but I think the running game issues are more on the shoulders of the OL

I disagree. He (and quite frankly any RB) needs to be able to get going before they can run through arm tackles. He doesn’t have the time or space to get it going downhill. He literally needs enough time to get one or two more steps in then he will break more tackles. He can do it. We know he can. We’ve seen it. It doesn’t go away overnightI would settle for a guy that can stay up past 2 yards after getting touched. Conner is fine. The play calling has been so dog **** that Ben needs to take over and go "playground." And Ben obviously is gonna call more spread formations than running plays.

Yup, I've seen too many handoffs to Conner with him facing a sideline.. get to the line asap. He had a couple nice ones last night where he hit the hole hard and broke a couple tackles. Cut the draw/delay/swing type runs out and get back to basics imoToo much side to side run plays.
