8 - 9 months of the year I get into boardshorts asap.

My joke is that my summer wardrobe is largely me changing out of wet boardies into dry boardies.

Summer: T-shirt and shorts.

Winter: Sweatpants, a T-shirt, and a fleece zip-up jacket.

There's a 12-degree difference between my summer and winter thermostat settings, so that's why the outfits differ so much.

I've been in comfy clothes since about March 16th 2020
T-shirt and shorts or sometimes just t-shirt and boxers if I’m feeling extra lazy and the kid is in daycare already.
Yeah it's sucked to have to put on socks and shoes lately thanks to this weather. Used to be straight flip flops.

I didn’t wear sweatpants for about 30 years. Now they’re my go to when it’s cold in the house. My buddy says joggers are great, but he’s also 10 years younger than me. Not sure I’m ready for that yet.

WFH for 2 years and I used to just wear cozies all the time. Then I found that actually getting dressed even if I'm not leaving the house is better for my mental well being. Now I change back into cozies once the day is done.

What's the difference between sweatpants and joggers?

I had to google what joggers are and, well, they're sweat pants.

They’re like capri sweatpants. And tighter I think. At least that’s how I think of them.

The ones I have go down to my ankles. Theyre just form fitting in the leg so you feel like less of a piece of crap when you're wearing em

A step between sweat pants and yoga pants, then?

I own a few pairs of warm-ups, which are heavier than any of these. They're the heavy polyester basketball style warm up pants. But it has to be super cold for me to wear them. I'm basically shorts year round. I might slip them on to take the trash to the curb if it's below freezing.

I wear nike joggers and love them. I'm ok going out in the world with them on ...not so much sweatpants.

Normally winter or summer in the house after work is gym shorts and a t-shirt no socks...at least when I used to actually go into the office then come home. Now it's gym shorts t-shirt all day every day.

I've worked from home for years now so I'm one of the "No, I wear whatever I where outside of my house" people.

These are what I mean when I say joggers...I have some with and without the front pocket but I guess biggest difference from sweatpants is the tapered fit.

They're two races of the same species for me. Both in form and the message they send.

I feel like joggers are for skinny people. I’m not skinny... not fat, just average. Not sure I’d feel comfortable wearing them outside the house, much like sweats.

I just thought joggers were sweatpants with longer cuffs at the ankles?

I change after work (wfh or nah) if I don't have plans. Sweatpants, cozy socks, long sleeve or jumper, no matter what time of year.

I personally never leave the house in sweatpants or yoga pants. That was ingrained into me as a child

I'm at the point now, given COVID, that I don't really care about how I look when I leave the house for errands (going into office to pick something up, groceries, etc). Sweatpants all the way, though I do choose my joggers because they're at least presentable. I have another pair that's my lounge pair and I've almost ripped the right pocket completely out.

I think its funny that my lounge wear is gym shorts and a tee shirt with no socks, sometimes no shirt even, but my wife looks like she's about to go on an ice fishing excursion at any given time, even if its 92 degrees outside

Joggers look ridiculous on adult males. Listen, I wear a coon skin hat in the winter, so I know how dumb someone can look. Just stop with the joggers if you are an adult and male. Don't wear them in your home when nobody can see you either, you look so **** ridiculous that everyone knows and there are way better options for comfort. Please just stop. Thanks.

being short, what I like about joggers is that since they're supposed to be ankle length on most people, they're perfect length on me and just end up looking like track pants.
the other thing I like to wear at home is scrub pants. quite comfy and not too warm.
