It's also completely ignorant to his stutter, and how people who stutter have to try and convey their thoughts.

It could also be that a 78 year old is statistically more likely to die sooner than a 74 year old...
OFFICIAL GDT: ELECTION DAY/NIGHT -- BIDEN VS. TRUMP 11/3/20
Why is this even relevant?

You're spot on with your RBG takes man. IMO she did nothing wrong - she earned a lifetime appointment and she alone knew if she had the cognitive ability to continue in that capacity. There is no evidence that she didn't. A true sign of success is how your impact is felt after you're gone. She made that impact and it doesn't **** matter who her "replacement" is - used loosely because there are 9 seats and it's not like her role was specific within that 9.I don’t really care about that stuff. I just think the cult of personality around her towards the end got weird and indulgent
The “Notorious RBG” and whatnot. I’m not saying she isn’t deserving of recognization for what she’s done for civil rights but she it felt more like she was a celebrity than a judge
People got weird and indulgent and used the opportunity to make it about themselves. Thats social media for ya. Most of them probably didn't know **** all about her until it became evident that Trump would be appointing her replacement.

RBG would've been a significant figure in constitutional/civil rights law even if she had never received a judicial appointment.

it shouldn't be a lifetime appointment.

The point is, it's a dumb argument, and comparing the two health wise ridiculous when both have lots of things going against them. Neither one is better in that regard, imo.It could also be that a 78 year old is statistically more likely to die sooner than a 74 year old...

He deserves the death penalty for that alone.

Its hard to know how healthy Trump is. On one hand, he eats and looks like he does, on the other, how much stress has he really had in life? his pathological denial of anything negative about himself probably protected him from a lot of mental anguish.

I feel like his paranoia gives him a good amount of stress

His foundation and daughter are apparently getting subpoenas from SDNY in regards to fraud. Its hard to know how healthy Trump is. I bet there’s more stress than assumed.

I'm not talking about a singular event, I mean 70 stress free years has him in a better position overall.

https://lawandcrime.com/2020-election/a ... pa-voters/The Trump campaign cannot block certification of Pennsylvania’s election results, which made Joe Biden President-elect of the United States, based on nothing more than “strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusation,” a federal judge ruled in a blistering opinion on Saturday night.
“In other words, Plaintiffs ask this Court to disenfranchise almost seven million voters,” U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann wrote in a 38 page opinion. “This Court has been unable to find any case in which a plaintiff has sought such a drastic remedy in the contest of an election, in terms of the sheer volume of votes asked to be invalidated. One might expect that when seeking such a startling outcome, a plaintiff would come formidably armed with compelling legal arguments and factual proof of rampant corruption, such that this Court would have no option but to regrettably grant the proposed injunctive relief despite the impact it would have on such a large group of citizens.”
“That has not happened,” Brann emphasized. “Instead, this Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence. In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state. Our people, laws, and institutions demand more.”

The judge needed 38 pages for that drivel? Did he triple space it with 2-inch margins all around?

So it can be appealed right?

It's really revolting the lengths that Trump and his cultist supporters are willing to go to stay in power. All of this talk about protecting the constitution and yet they continually file these baseless and ridiculous lawsuits that aim to disenfranchise millions of voters and effectively shred the constitution. As far as I am concerned, the Republicans, which I shall now refer to as the Repugnanticans, is now a party of repugnant slaw jawed yokels completely out of touch with reality and acting in complete contrast to the principles this county was founded on.
