1,784 votes decided the election? Sheesh...

After all the recounts, the final margin was actually something like 540 votes out of I think roughly 6 million votes cast in Florida.

'In theory' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

The FL supreme court enjoined the Secretary of State from certifying the results. Appeals ensued. There was no President-elect until the resolution of Bush v Gore, which was argued Dec 11 and the ruling issued Dec 12..... and later that same day the transition office space was opened up.

Well in theory there is no president elect until states certify their results...

Definitely maybe not. They might have tried to help, but choosing Hillary "The female version of Trump" Clinton was actually the reason the Dems lost.
