the justices on the SC are all smart. I would be appalled if they agreed with the R's ridiculous argument that votes received after Nov. 3 but postmarked by then are invalid

It's not that hard to get a variance.

"I'd like to pump a bunch of money into the economy by hiring local contractors to turn this dilapidated commercial property into a house" goes over very well at zoning boards.

Evacuations were underway in Philadelphia on Friday afternoon after bomb threats were called into an area close to the Convention Center where ballot counting is taking place.

Philadelphia police said that security in the Fashion District mall received two calls from the same individual saying that a bomb was going to go off.

That's mostly it. My friend tried to do it in downtown Altoona and has been blocked by code for years. But they let the right "connected" person start doing it nearby. I was going to get a huge loft at my friend's for like $700 a month. Instead the other person has lofts 1/4 the size going for $1450. My friend was just a guy that honestly they couldn't trust to do things the right way or how they wanted. The other was a respected realtor that they were comfortable with. And Penn State and UPMC want my friend's building too. It's actually been really eye opening watching the situation escalate over the last 10 years.
