I'm not quoting you to @ you, it's just that this is the topic line I wanted to address. I feel like a lot of where we are in this divisiveness is because it's 'my team' vs 'your team'. If you took away parties and had your choice between candidates that had nothing to do with the political continuum, I wonder how many of those that call themselves by one team would actually vote for the guy on the other team. And maybe speaking from my independent status skews my thinking on that but I just don't understand how people can take a step back and look at the presidential candidates or Senate candidates in Kentucky and South Carolina, most notably, and say that I'm going to pick that guy because my registration card practically says I have to. I'd hope that people would be able to think for themselves and not just follow 'the party line'.It is a good quality that you (and dodint) are willing to cross the line and vote with people that you fundamentally disagree with.a) lol'd at "too many choices" and it's from the perfect poster to say such a ridiculous thing...
b) there's over 50 people on this board...?
c) A lot of people not registered with either bona fide trash team relative to how discussion goes here...
I'm hoping to vote for JJ...but if polling is close, I'll likely bite the bullet and vote for Biden...
If it were to come to the point, where the democrats nominated someone objectively ill-suited and unqualified, I would hope I could make that decision.
I'll be glad when this election crap is over.
