I really hate that we're getting the Texans at 0-2. They'll be desperate. On the other hand, imagine being a Texans fan and Seeing KC-Baltimore-Pittsburgh to open the season. Woof

We should be able to beat them regardless of their record or motivation, IMO. Plus, the defense should be a little angry with themselves after almost blowing it yesterday.

Toughest stretch of their schedule coming up IMO but its not too bad of a gauntlet:

Houston
Tennessee
Philadelphia
Cleveland
Baltimore
BYE
Dallas

I can see them going 4-2 with losses to Baltimore and Dallas. The Browns game will be closer than it should be and Titans will be tough.

I'm still chapped about the call to kick a FG on 4th and 1 from the 3. Even if you don't score or pick up the down, you're leaving the bad guys a 97-yard field hung around their backup QB's neck with less than a minute on the clock and you're receiving the 2nd half kick.

Not to really talk crap about Houston, but both of their games have been trash. BoB seems to be on a short list of people fired potentially mid-season.

It always seems like linemen are unsung heroes, but it has been wonderful to see how great DeCastro turned out to be. I remember back around 2013 or so there was some carping that it was a waste of a draft pick, but he has put together one hell of a career. Following in the footsteps of Faneca before him (not making a 1:1 comparison, but man the Steelers have had some good guards in the 2000s).

On another note, while looking up some more information on his earlier career, I rediscovered Guy Whimper, who I had completely forgotten about.
