I'm assuming this is to give time in case others test positive. Those who are currently on IR/COVID list wouldn't be cleared for Sunday either.

Players who tested positive are out the next 2 weeks. If anything, this protects the Steelers.

I like how the takeaway from this is 'boo Ravens' and not a recognition that 2/3 of NFL teams have had COVID+ players and that playing sportsball outside of a bubble situation was a monumentally stupid thing.

Sure, I said earlier that the takeaway should be that playing at all is stupid. But if you look at how other teams have been dealt with, this is kind of bulls**t. The 9ers had to play with like half their roster on COVID reserve. Granted, SF was at home and not traveling, which is different than the Ravens being the road team. But TEN was the home team earlier in the season when the game got PPD. I understand that protocols can change over time as new information is gleaned, but there is nothing new we've learned about COVID since October that warrants different treatment.

I don't understand why people are thinking this helps the Ravens. Those players who are out with Covid will not be playing on Sunday either. This gives them some time for the late positive results to show up. If anything, they'll lose more players with this schedule.
