and barring any further postponements, the week 18 game allows every other team in the league an extra week to rest going into the playoffs. It also could potentially hurt the Steelers if a player is injured in that game and that player is lost for a number of weeks.

More importantly, it shouldn't be on the Steelers to keep waiting and waiting and waiting. To borrow a Tomlin-ism, if they're not ready to play, "next man up." They expanded the rosters this year for a reason, so grab players from the practice squad and play the game. If the Broncos can run their offense with a practice squad WR-turned-QB, then the Ravens can shuffle the chairs and piece together some form of a starting lineup.

It's not about next man up. It's about an active outbreak. Ravens needed (or still need to depending on how today goes) get the outbreak under control first.

With nocera. What happens if you have transmission during the game Tuesday and it takes out a few Steelers for the next couple weeks? With an active outbreak, there's no reason to put the Steelers at risk at this point. Forfeit or delay to Week 18, only responsible choices right now.

There's no way a team should be playing on three days rest, gotta slide the game against the fighting Alex Smith's to Monday, and even that sucks.
