The offense can finally get down to face-to-face business of implementing the plan under the new OC. Hopefully everyone tests negative and as things continue to get phased in, we can look forward to an uninterrupted season.

I know that the games bring in a crapload of revenue to the area due to the high number of people coming into the area, but I half hope they limit the number of people that can come. COVID is going to rip right through this area come Fall if we have full students back and full football (as do other illnesses year after year).

Fingers crossed for my first whiteout this year. First time in 8 years I can get out of youth soccer on a fall Saturday before November.

When I was in school, Beaver Stadium on gameday was the 5th largest 'city' in the Commonwealth. Apparently, it is now the 4th largest. Neat.

Yahoo reporting that Micah Parsons will be opting out of this season. Can’t say as I blame him.

Makes sense. Unfortunately.

This season is going to be such a clusterf*ck.

It's why it is hard for me to take any sports seriously this year. Things like golf are an exception.

OK, our turn to play.

Games at Indiana always turn into a giant CF and the Hoosiers have traditionally played PSU tough, just haven't been able to get over the hump more than the one time. They have an old new QB (Penix) that PSU has seen before and supposedly, IU has the most talented team they've had in the last 30 years. I hope that by Thursday or Friday, I'll be more worked up for this game. Right now I'm still sort of blah.

Ohio State game announced for 7:30pm start on Halloween. As if we didn't need any more frights.

I honestly forgot the B1G was even starting this week. Vegas only has the Lions as a 6.5 point favorite.

I'm so drained that I haven't even given college football a second thought. I might tune in, but I doubt it.

5-3 at best, 4-4 wouldn't surprise me.

Really hard to say how to forecast the season but might as well take a blind shot:

at Indiana -- W
Ohio State -- L
Twerps -- W
at Nebraska -- W
Iowa -- W
at Michigan -- L...but only because it's Franklin and it's the Big House and PSU has a mental block about that place
at Rutgers -- W...even @mikey gets a couple of snaps in garbage time
Sparty -- W

So that puts them 6-2 with both losses to the best two teams in the division and they end up with a lovely consolation prize of playing Minnesota in the C flight game on conference championship weekend.

Over/under on number of games that gets canceled because of the 'Rona -- 1.5...I think one of them will get bounced because someone somewhere isn't going to be responsible as it gets colder.

Journey Brown looks like he’ll miss some time, perhaps the season, with some sort of medical issue. Perhaps ‘Fumbles’ Slade shouldn’t have been so hasty in his departure, especially since he went to a school that opted out of this season.

This was a big time trap game potential. Lions were only favored by 6 or so. Nice comeback.

I kind of hope Indiana ties this up and wins now since we didn't take the knee and the W.
