V’Lique Carter played 20 games in two years at an ACC program as a way undersized RB and decided to transfer to Albany. Have to imagine he decided to leave and the grass wasn’t as green as he expected.

I don't think he was cutout to be an ACC back but I also have a hard time seeing anyone in the CAA stopping him

On a scale of 1 to 10 what do you give the Narduzzi regime so far

I say 6. 6.5 if I’m feeling generous.

Same. The overall record hasn't been great but we got an ACC championship game and three 8 win seasons. The recruiting seems to be stepping up and we might have a top 10 defense this year. This is a big year for the Duzz

The Super Panthers landed a commitment today from GA linebacker Preston Lavant with two more expected commitments coming later today. The 2021 class is 26th in the country at the moment and Donald hasn't announced yet

He's a solid 5. I would say this is make or break year, for me, imo. I am teetering on this guy isn't untouchable if he produces another mediocre year, and he can bounce, otherwise.

I'd give Duzz a 6.5 to 7. He took over during the end of the coaching cariselle that made Pitt a laughing stock and brought stability to the program. Has a Coastal championship in there. 3 8 win seasons. And has a handful of top 5 wins while playing a difficult schedule almost every year.

Reason why it's not higher is that his teams have crapped the bed at the end of each season losing maybe not "bad" games like vs a Ohio university or something, but he should have beaten Miami last year, BC this year, and UNC a handful of times. And the bowl games have been pooh results.

I do think he is what Pitt needed though. Can he take us up one more level? We'll see. But he has brought stability and hasn't crapped the bed. Pitt needed that in a bad way.

I'm guessing we'll end the ranking around 30-35 again IMO.

Some really solid OL prospects, especially from Michigan.

Heard some chatter about a 3 star WR in Dillon, SC is close to committing to Pitt.

Jeff Capel said Pitt won't play Duquesne in 2020. Stupid IMO.

Everytime I feel like we can take steps forward, we do something stupid like this to piss people off.

I'll preface this by saying I think they should play. But I do have a take. The City Game never did anything for me. I made no extra effort to make sure I was available to watch it and surely wouldn't cancel plans to go buy tickets and go to it. It was like this thing that I was told I should care about but never really actually cared. Pitt won every time and it was just like any other non conference cupcake.

That said, there's room for the other non conference cupcakes so one of them should be Duquesne
