We're going to win Kenny! You know it.Pitt stinks
Will Kenneth Shane Pickett play? Nard dog as usual isn't saying anything about this injury. Not that it would be nice for fans to have any sort of functional info about the team.
The good news is that the U passing game stinks. The bad news is that Pitt in general stinks. Looking forward to doing my best to not pay attention to this game.

I just have a bad feeling about this one. This game felt like a loss even when I hoped Pitt could have pulled off 5-0 heading into this game and given what we've seen from the offense against teams not named Austin Peay, I'm less optimistic.
I know previous Miami games have nothing really to do with this one, but (presumably) better Pitt teams have struggled to beat worse Miami teams. I keep thinking back to N'Kosie Perry or whoever else routinely overthrowing receivers by 10-20 yards at a time and Pitt still couldn't find ways to win.
Miami's passing game struggles are real but given that Pitt collectively allowed 10 receptions for 153 yards and 2 TDs by tight ends the last two weeks, I expect Brevin Jordan to have roughly 500 yards receiving by the end of this game.
Saving grace here for the defense is that Miami's offensive line isn't good. I know Clemson is Clemson but their defensive front absolutely broke Miami's O-line last week (4 sacks, 11 total tackles for loss), and Florida State had 5 TFLs against them as well. Hopefully the defensive line can get back on track tomorrow, though getting to King is just half the battle there.
Offensively who the hell knows. I honestly don't expect Pickett to play, so maybe we'll get to see what Yellen or Beville can do.
But hey, AJ Davis is supposedly back and 100%. *long wet fart*
Narduzzi also said this yesterday: "Sibley has been playing good, Daniel Carter has been playing good." That makes me wonder what parallel dimension Narduzzi is seeing because in the one I'm watching, Daniel Carter hasn't carried the ball more than twice in a game since Austin Peay and Sibley hasn't taken a handoff from a QB all year. Maybe the Sibley comment is a harbinger of things to come this week given Pickett's status...we'll get to relive the Michigan State game when they just ran Shady out of the wildcat the entire time.
I'm an idiot so I'll still watch. And honestly, skepticism aside I hope Pitt wins because the only thing I dislike more about The U's fanbase is the media's inability to stop themselves from proclaiming Miami to be "BACK" every time they string three wins together. If it can't ever come together for Pitt, I at least enjoy the opportunities to ruin it for other programs as well.

No Kenneth Shane Pickett today, per Brett McMurphy. Starter will either be Beville or Yellen.
Pickett, Camp, and Abanikanda were not listed on the travel roster, according to Panther Lair.
This should be fun.

New formation for us that I’m calling “The Wet Fart”. Sibley at wildcat QB with both Davis’s in the backfield. I want to die from just thinking it up. Whipple has definitely cooked this up for today.

No Brevin Jordan for the U so the football gods may be showing a bit of mercy.
I'll quote Rockhound from Armageddon...It's time to embrace the horror. All in on the Beville/Yellin train.
Let's go. H2P

Didn’t watch the game yesterday, which was the best decision I’ve made in a while. That comment about the offense though still chaps my ass and just highlights why I’ve wanted this dick smack out for years now. Nothing is ever his fault when things go wrong. His most successful season in this program was 100% because of the offensive coordinator that he criticized as not being very good last year. Every other offensive coordinator he’s hired has been ****, but at least that gives him someone to blame when the offense is complete ****, which it has mostly been for his time here. Can’t recruit offensive talent to save this program’s life, but that’s not his side of the ball so who cares.
Of course when the defense sucks, which it mostly has during his time here, it’s because the players can’t execute. He’s scheme is the greatest thing in the world. He just needs better players. **** changing the scheme up to better suit your players and put them in the best position to succeed. **** making adjustments so that overwhelmed DBs don’t spend the game on a man coverage island against a WR they can’t handle and get smoked the entire time. They just need to be better and then everything will work perfectly. Never mind that this program has somehow put multiple DBs in the NFL despite each of them looking like smashed ass in Narduzzi’s vaunted scheme. Guess they were talented enough and he’s just a shitty **** coach.
**** you Narduzzi. Enjoy your embarrassment of a losing record in what was supposed to be the best season in your tenure. You’re an dadhole and a joke of a coach. Go kick another field goal against penn state you **** head.

Not really surprised that they are 3-3 because Pitt, but they took a shittier path than usual to get there.
I don't expect them to compete for National Championships but it's pretty depressing when they continually Pitt the bed when they have an opportunity to do something positive.
I don't even really get mad at this point because you know what to expect.
