I know more people now that have covid or just got over it than at any other time during the pandemic.

My daughters soccer game this weekend is canceled because of an outbreak on the opposing team.

And where you all live I'm guessing it remains the predictable 95%+ severe/hospitalization cases are unvwxxed? Cos that's what it is here; county-wide back up over 3,000 cases a day, but only around 500 or so hospitalized, nearly all unvaxxed. I would've thought we had run out of unvwxxed dingleberries by now, but alas.

Plenty of time, this stupid virus is not going anywhere

I assume it's 90%+ unvaxxed, but I don't think I ever see anyone really reporting anything these days. All I hear about are case counts, not hospitalizations or deaths. Certainly not figures.

Who has been double boosted? I still haven't had mine and not sure I'll get it unless a new, worse variant comes along.

I actually have a trip in July for work. I may reboost then prior to flying but really might just wait until Fall.

Nope, still rolling with my initial Moderna booster way back in the winter. If they come out with a new blend to help prevent against more variants, I’d probably get it. Until then, I’m good.

Stay with me here... my sister in law's mother in law got her second booster. She's in her 70s. I just want to see some research that a second booster is necessary for hospitalizations/death.

My parents got their second booster about 3 weeks ago. They're both in their upper 60s and were planning a trip for this week so they figured they might as well. I guess I pretty much assumed that I'll be getting another booster every fall. I wouldn't mind another one though. I feel like I'm still one behind since I started with J&J.

had my annual wellness exam about a month ago. asked my doctor if she recommended that I get my 2nd booster since I'm over 50. she immediately said yes because the variants will just keep coming.
I went 4 days later and got booster #2. side effects were minimal. not much more than a bit of arm soreness.
so far, still a Gold Star. *knock wood*

I will reboost whenever and however often I am legally, medically, and ethically permitted to do so. Gimme dat juice.

my COVID paranoid friend (the one who lost 80 pounds and lied about his health status to get 3 FULL DOSE shots) and his wife just got back from seeing Billy Joel at MSG (for the 2nd time this year) in NYC. the wife has a "cold" suddenly. I'm dying to ask if he's going to put her in isolation.
