NC requiring all high school indoor athletes to wear masks at all times. Volleyball season is already underway and they’ve been wearing masks. Basketball tryouts start December 7 and season starts January 4. Private schools had already started and weren’t required to wear masks. They now are.

When I think temp screenings are a good way to catch someone who IS sick, it doesn't catch everyone

I got my test finally this morning at CVS.
My dad also had to get one and since it wasn't an electronic script (his old school Dr still uses paper) quest wouldn't administer a test to him.
It's all but impossible to get a test if you don't either have a script or want to pay $119+

I guess I should say, that the same is true in PA... BUT once you go to actually schedule the test there are no appointments available. That's how I was able to get the last appointment CVS had available today.That’s crazy. In nc, can get a test for free as long as you click yes to one of the questions. For example, have you been, or possibly been exposed to someone with covid?

Amount of people that have covid and don't have a fever at time of screening > false negative Covid tests.
A Covid test will catch an asymptomatic person. Temp screenings won't.
