And I’m assuming that’s only the confirmed cases in India. Imagine the slums and places without anything in the ways of medical treatment were probably hit hard too.
Crazy how transmissible this thing is.

COVID-19
One thing covid has done is allow people to know whether or not they are social drinkers. Aside from golfing, I haven’t been drinking at all during covid. I would probably be losing weight if I didn’t eat grilled cheese for lunch multiple times a week or multiple frozen pizzas for dinner / week

Yup. Alcohol and food... I’ve put on some poundage since the start of this. Just ordered new running shoes and plan to start working out again. Luckily I don’t have 100 pounds to lose this time. Just 15-20.

I read that as "excessive drinking rosé"
COVID-19
I drink a lot more in December. Just something about the holidays goes well with spirits. Haven't really drunk anything since then. But I'm also trying to actively lose weight and since I don't like beer to begin with the chances of me drinking is pretty low.
COVID-19
I've definitely been drinking less than I was prior to COVID. A big part of it is that I just don't feel like driving out to get beer if I don't need to make a trip. If I go to Giant Eagle I might get a 6 pack, but only Shop N Save is local up here, so I don’t go to the Iggle that often.

Also, why hasn’t that person I’m talking to in public without a mask on in close proximity Vaccinated yet? Who is this person he’s taking about? An octogenarian who goes about town having open air maskless meet and greets with strangers? Congrats on the imminent death. Nothing I’m doing is gonna stop that train.

The pause was - by and large - to educate providers and hospitals on how to properly treat these incredibly rare causes. It is not the typical treatment for a blood clot.
Also. Fauci’s time in the spotlight should end. his “yeah, but...” messages have past their time of impactfulness.

I'd give those folks until, say, the end of May to get vaccinated. While many states have been open to everyone for a while, some states like PA just recently opened up vaccinations to everyone. After that, if an unvaccinated person gets ill, then **** 'em. They made their choice."One can get vaccinated, have no clinical disease at all but get infected & not even know it ... and inadvertently transmit it to somebody else who might actually be unvaccinated & get ill."
I support the right of people to refuse the vaccine, and I don't think government should mandate it. Whether private parties and employers mandate the vaccine is up to them. But neither are any of the rest of us under any obligation to alter our behavior in order to accommodate those folks who have the opportunity to get a shot but nevertheless decline to get vaccinated. And I should imagine that those folks wouldn't mind to get infected, because that's the side of the cost-benefit analysis that they have selected.

what mask designs have y’all been running in the last year?
first one I got last March was a Pens one. In August I got a Broncos one for the football season but the metal nose only lasted until January so I’ve been wearing the Pens one exclusively since then
Also got a Red Sox one today for the baseball season. Hopefully won’t need it come the second half of the season

I've been wearing a non-descript white one for over a year. When I lose it/it gets dirty I get another one.
