Who said it did?Right, but I don't think Begarmo achieving herd immunity would say anything about, say Pittsburgh achieving herd immunity.Herd immunity is different for each place. It literally depends upon a multitude of factors. While 50% might be herd immunity for begarmo, it might be 30% for say Pittsburgh, and 20% for more rural areas. Is herd immunity really a thing if it's related to one particular location? I really don't understand this premise, looking at one of a handful of places across the globe that was absolutely decimated by the virus, has had 50% of it's population exposed. That does not say anything related the ability for the virus to spread, except in the other handful of locations that were decimated.

Kennywood prediction: they will start off enforcing the mask rule just so they are able to open but after a little while, it will go out the window.
I use to work there and can’t imagine having to work all day wearing a mask. And lol if they think the workers will actually clean more..

Definitely bad for Arizona but again thats another state that has been steadily rising this whole time so its a totally different story for PA.
Begs the question why would you open if you've shown no signs of peaking.

As much as I complained about PA it looks like the triggers for reopening were better than a lot of these other states. They waited until there was a clear decrease in new cases, positive test percentage, and no risk to hospitals.

I think no matter when they opened this would have happened. Virus isn’t going away and you are going to hit whatever your peak is regardless.Definitely bad for Arizona but again thats another state that has been steadily rising this whole time so its a totally different story for PA.

The good news about continued increases in warm climates is it kinda makes a fall spike seem like less of a concern

there was a video of defund the police protesters. Once jackass threw a brick at a passing car. The driver stopped and got out. Before the dude was completely out of the car, like three different protesters screamed "call the police!"lolol at the clown in the last photo protesting but still wearing a mask.

tifosi77 ?Did CA open?
We are in various stages of reopening; I actually have a dentist appointment in 45 minutes. Restaurants have opened for dine-in service (with distancing and sterilization protocols in force). Hair salons are open, but my lady hasn't indicated she's scheduling clients yet. Was out by the coast yesterday and the surf lineup in Malibu was as packed as I've ever seen it (sets were 4-5', which is decent for that break). Not sure. tifosi77 whats happening over there my man
As I noted yesterday, I'm just unsure what metrics officials are using in making these decisions, because nowhere in SoCal is trending downward. The only populated area that's trending down is the Bay Area, with six of the seven counties that were part of the initial shelter-in-place order trending pretty sharply down since the end of March.

So basically CA is about as open as Allegheny County.
