COVID-19
oh I agree. especially since his wife has been posting about how their kids are sick too. she does say they've tested negative but......He went to Singapore with covid. Virus detection doesn’t typically occur until around 48 hours after contraction.
FWIW, they are as vaxed as possible and very mask conscientious.

they must not because he walked around for at least a day.Came here to say that. I guess they have no testing requirements to enter?

Honestly............ I mean....... look, there are way worse places in the world be stuck in a hotel room with people bringing you local food. I'm just saying, make some f**king lemonade, guy.a buddy of mine works for Microsoft and just had his first international trip in over 2 years. he was in Singapore exactly 24 hours before he tested positive. he's now stuck in Singapore, confined to his hotel room and availing himself of their version of Uber Eats.

We've returned to "high" covid community levels here in Centre County... I think that just means they suggest you wear a mask in public places, right?

Dang it. Where I live is low, but where I work is medium (again). Probably that big bike rally last week, huh? Memorial Day, and another big bike rally should crank that up to high very soon.

I'd imagine they're smart enough to know nobody cares enough to follow it

What can you change? Mandatory masking at this point would be silly.

Depends. Some are proctored for travel purposes and those likely are, but I didn’t report my home tests at all when I was positive and never went for an “official” test.Do home tests count in the data or nah

COVID bit the Bear family as soon as we got back from Indy. In all honesty, Mrs Bear probably had it before but wrote it off as allergies. So the two of us have tried to stay confined to our room while our three children have the run of the house.
Other than the kids losing their minds out of boredom, things are going pretty well. For me day 1 was identical to butt whipping the booster gave me, and now it’s just a really bad head cold.

It was two miserable days for me and 4-5 days of lingering symptoms (cough and easily winded). Also, low points were pretty bad (101.4 fever and some really bad chills).I'm gonna go there - is it even worth getting another booster at this point if it pretty much equates to the booster side effects now?
Guess just saying, I will still get a booster
