Out of curiosity, what constitutes a "cluster"? And what other type of facilities are included in that kind of grouping?
COVID-19
I woke up Tuesday just completely achy, sore throat, etc. I didn't have a fever, and still had taste, and smell. My doctor said originally not to get tested, but with my kids playing sports, etc, and me still feeling bad on Wednesday, said I should maybe get one to be cautious, even though I was feeling better vs Tuesday. Why did you get tested? Do you think you were exposed? Whatever the reason, I hope all is well.Had my COVID test yesterday. Today my f'ing nose is irriated from the swab. Damnit.
So I got one yesterday morning. Waiting for results. I still have some sinus/throat issues, but overall feeling better. Hopefully it's just a bug or something.
PS, if you do need to get tested, call around to your local med expresses (if that is the route you are going to go). Some of the busier locations like Wexford have like 3 hour wait times, where other locations that are testing, it only took me like 15 minutes.

First of all that's an asinine response. Why are you so hard pressed to pretend like this thing isn't a big deal? And all 40+ will be fine.Outbreak on Fraternity Row at USC. 40+ cases ID'd this week.

I know there are a few newer, less invasive tests, but I highly doubt they're widespread right now. My work or my wife's work may actually have/use them.I think it was tongue in cheek, but he made his point of "that thing has to get in there" pretty clearThat seems... extreme. Our Chief Medical Officer told our testers that if blood doesn't come back on the swap, you probably didn't do it deep enoughHad my COVID test yesterday. That would still be incredible. Even if they have it to us by this time next year, that's incredible. This fall? Unthinkable.

Again, could you imagine being 79 and still working like he does everyday?
Hell no. I have just under 19 years left until I peace out of the workforce.

Also, long term care facilities are sadly getting hit hard again.
The new cases reported today represent at least 77 known to be among long-term care residents and staff at this time.
