I'm actually kind of hoping my work trip to Germany gets canceled due to this. I'd love to actually be in the country on the day that we close on our house.

I bought our house in Wisconsin while my wife was still in NC. My hand still aches from having to write my signature, her signature, and the little power of attorney statement over and over.

Last year was a terrible flu season. It’s estimated that 9 to 40 million people get the flu every year.
Last year there were 900k hospitalizations, and 80k deaths.
So it’s hospitalization rate was 2 to 10%, with a mortality rate between .2 to 1%.
This seems to be the the flu without vaccines or antivirals to help combat it. Hopefully that remdesivir isn’t actually working and they are able to deploy it in time to help people and start reducing the mortality rate more towards the flu type numbers.

I'm seeing all these recommendations on how to not contract it and one says to wash your hands regularly. Umm, isn't that an every day recommendation, not a COVID19 recommendation?

People are gross. I wash my hands at least 6-7 times a day.
